We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really nice place, we have been happy to have found Saint Jean Hotel. Really clean , relaxing location , good food and in particular nice panorama in front of us. The service was perfect and the air conditioning a fundamental aspect to appreciate more the services offered. Thanks a lot for everything and I suggest to make vacation in a quiete location placed in a beautiful geographic position like the Corsica... enjoining the service proposed from the Hotel Saint Jean, of course. CanadaThe hotel is easy to find on the main road of Ersa. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the view from the balcony. The sunset is breathtaking. The hotel has a restaurant on site which is nice so you don’t have to drive anywhere.

BelgiumWe had attic rooms, which we knew beforehand since it was mentioned on Booking. However it was also mentioned that the attic rooms had a view on the mountains. This is not the case as there are only very small windows very close to the floor. Furthermore the rooms are quite dark because there is not a lot of lighting. Breakfast was good but very expensive.
The hotel has a very good restaurant which is very convenient since there are not a lot of restaurants or shops around. The terras offers a nice view.
