Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceLittle bit isolated - means you have to take the car to get anywhere, (but we knew that).
Somewhat atypical camping, with bundles of charm and friendly hosts. Wonderful, warm, outdoor shower.

We loved everything about our stay at the Llama Farm and wished we could have stayed longer. The farm and tents are beautiful and spacious, we befriended some lovely Llamas and donkeys and goats and dogs and more than a few lovely people. Nigel and Sarah are the perfect hosts, they love their animals and take great care of their human guests too. Our little girl was happy to wander around the beautiful property independently. Among the many highlights there were daily llama feedings, pool games, outdoor showers and barbecues with new friends. Can’t recommend this place enough, it makes for a truly magical experience.

ItalyOur one night stay wasn’t long enough! We reserved last minute and were delighted to “glamp” at Sarah and Nigel’s property. The tent and facilities were very comfortable and super clean, the animals adorable and the whole atmosphere A++++. We would love to come back and stay longer! What a hidden gem! We loved it!

United KingdomI honestly can't fault anything about our stay - unless you count Jeremy and Nobby the roosters for their early morning alarm clock (nothing that you wouldn't expect on a farm and certainly nothing that ear plugs can't help with!)
Huge thanks to Sarah and Nigel for providing such a pleasant stay! It was our first experience of glamping - we stayed in one of the yurts and it was luxury to sleep in a tent with real (comfy) beds and to take a wild shower! The kitchen facilities were great, with everything we could have needed. Breakfast was AMAZING, with fresh warm pastries & bread, butter, jam and beautiful fresh eggs (thanks chickens!). Our 7 year old son adored feeding the llamas and donkeys, as well as making friends with the dogs! Beyond the animals, there's a lovely little pool & lots of games dotted around for both kids and adults, as well as hammocks and sun loungers for relaxing :-) We couldn't have asked for better hosts- Sarah and Nigel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to have the best break possible...thank you so much, we'll be back! Sarah and Nigel are happy to suggest a wealth of local places to explore (lots of lovely small hamlets, villages, chateaus etc), but there's also plenty of exploring opportunities in and around the farm itself. Definitely recommend your own transport though, as it would otherwise be tricky to get around (as you'd expect in rural France!)...that said, you could easily spend a long weekend just chilling out and relaxing at the farm itself.

United KingdomSarah and Nigel were extremely welcoming to our family. They were particularly fantastic showing our kids around all the animals and answering the numerous questions from the kids. I would suggest this is a must stop for families whose kids have any interest in animals. In addition, they are doing a wonderful job rescuing animals that come their way!

We had all the utilities to cook with, everything very nicely organized, the glamping tent we stayed in very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the shower outside.

United KingdomAll was great.
The animals are clearly the highlights of the place. My favourites were the goats, as it happens, but the dogs were lovely too. Feeding time is not to be missed, and the proprietors do a great job involving the children. One of the highlights of my entire holiday was a lunch in the restaurant 'Bien d'etre' in nearby Mayet. The Plat + Dessert for 10 euro was unsurpassed value, which is why it was full at 1230 on an August Tuesday in country France.

United KingdomIf I wanted to be picky, I would have liked a small fridge in our room to keep the milk cold for tea.
We took our own breakfast to eat but made a cup of tea in the outdoor kitchen. We were closely monitored by Nobby the resident Rooster and his 6 girls. They were great fun.

IrelandOur family (mom, dad, kids and grandparents) loved this wonderful place. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The hosts was super nice and so good with the kids. They took them off to feed the animals and got us floaties for the pool. The tent was lots of fun to stay in. It was a fantastic couple of days and we would love to visit again.

United KingdomWe had a great stay at the farm on our journey down through France. The owners were lovely and showed us around their fantastic farm and eclectic animal collection. We really liked our spacious, comfortable well-designed room and, as no one else was staying, we had the bathroom to ourselves. Breakfast was fresh and delicious-such a treat to be able to eat it outside in the Spring sunshine with all the birdsong. Highly recommended for a short or a much longer stay!

FranceThe only downside was that many restaurants nearby are closed in August so we need to be organized to plan a lunch/dinner out!
We had a wonderful stay in the llama farm: we stayed 2 weeks and it really felt like home. The chalet/lodge was very nice, so cute and well equipped (the bbq is +++). Sarah and Nigel are amazing hosts always making their best to please their hosts, they are truly lovely people. Also, the breakfast is great and portions are generous. We will miss the morning visits of the animals and the go around the farm evening sessions, we absolutely loved these! Thank you so much for these holidays and see you soon!!
