Nothing for us not to like.

Very traditional Parisian hotel in a nice grand building . in a great location .Lovely ,friendly staff. Metro and buses 2 min walk .plenty of bars ,restaurants,coffee shops ,supermarkets in the area ,felt very safe . Everything worked well in our room ,nice having a fridge . Great to be able to leave luggage for a few hours after check out .

For the price we paid we got everything what was needed.

It is very cozy hotel, with perfect location. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Old style of a room makes it particularly charming, and reflects retro Parisian style. The value for money is super good. We would stay again in this hotel! And hotel is very clean; with daily cleaning and towel change.

Had a lovely 3 nights in Hotel Meslay Republique. Great location, close to many different Metro lines. Friendly helpful staff. Firm bed, but like most hotels in Europe, the pillows were too soft.

There's not much to dislike, I can't think of any negatives. It's a budget hotel, so don't expect something too fancy, but it's clean and the employees are friendly.

The personeel was very friendly and always helpful. They gave us a kettle when we asked for it, and they immediately got one for us. The location is also superb, next to a metro station and a bus station.

Ot the hotel's fault but this part of Paris is noisy at night.

Little annoying having to hand in the key every time you leave and ask for it back again.

Great spacious room with comfy bed. Very good location with metro just over the road but walking distance to various areas too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

it was annoying to have the cleaning storage cupboard right outside the room as it woke us up when the cleaning staff opened it and took stuff in and out of it quite early in the morning. Several doors near our room needed oil to stop them squeaking.

The staff in the reception and the breakfast room are all super nice. The room and bathroom were perfectly cleaned, the beds are comfortable and the location of the hotel is great.

I can’t think of anything that was inconvenient or a problem.

The rooms were great, near several metros. The water pressure was strong, water was hot, and he bed was comfortable. All of the the staff were helpful and friendly. Towels were changed daily. There is an elevator, which is very helpful.

Very little for our needs. We could have had breakfast in the hotel but decided in advance that we wanted to explore the area and find excellent coffee and pastries which we did. Our search included an artisan bakery less than five minutes away where everything was fresh and excellently tasty with good cafe creme and they even had excellent take away lunch which we took with us for the train!! We did not miss having a refrigerator in the room stocked with miniatures etc others might!! I would say that we had no complaints.

The location was excellent well served by transport,restaurants, just off Place Republic but quiet and warm and all staff very friendly and accommodating.The twin room was smallish but really adequate for two close friends, plenty of wardrobe space for clothes and toiletries in the bathroom. So cosy and warm always. We were there to see the Mark Rothko exhibition and the hotel allowed us to stow our luggage even though we were checking out and when we collected we were able to use the sitting room to adjust what we needed for travelling home. We were both pensioners myself nearly 80 and my friend 76 so taking luggage up and down the metro might have been strenuous but we were lightly packed very adequately and had no trouble whatsoever. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

You have to leave keys when leaving the hotel everyday. I don't know why it is a must but that makes it weird to pick up keys when you arrive very late night. There is always someone in reception anyway.

Location is good just at the Republique Square. You can connect many train lines. Lots of restaurants and bouillons around. Furniture was a bit outdated but clean and tidy. Room was not extreme small so we were happy about it.
