Friendly staff, excellent location with so many bars and restaurants very close, add to that the superb Metro right outside! There is an electrically operated blind on the outside of the window, ours had an impressive view of the Montparnasse Tower. Even though the hotel is on the corner of a busy road junction the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, the shower is amazing too although the bathroom was in need of some updating, however this did not detract from our satisfaction. Breakfast was available but we did not try it as we tend not to eat early.

Location is very central, minute distance to Montparnasse train station and several metro lines. Staff helps with kindness to all your requests such as late check out. There is a super nice cafe next to the hotel for breakfast and other eating drinking options.

They issued a single key which you had to return when you left the premise. Rather old fashion. Was a little disconcerting when we returned and was given another room's key! Also no room safe.

We located across the street from the train station we arrived, lots of metro lines, restaurants etc right there!

We really faced out kind of in direction of the train station, on the 1st floor (above ground), so it was a bit noisy. But this was expected from the location, not much of a problem. Would've loved a safe to feel, well, more safe about leaving my belongings behind.

Great location located next to a really great cafe (Cafe Jeanette) and across from Gare Montparnasse, anything you need at any time of day (pretty much) is nearby. Also, the velib bikes had multiple stations nearby, so getting around on nice days was also easy. In terms of the hotel itself -- it clearly had recent renovated bathrooms, with a nice shower and great water pressure. The beds were comfy. The windows openable. There was also an AC unit for when it's too hot in summer. It took getting used to leaving the key at the front desk (which is to me a really antiquated system I associate with remote swiss chalet hotels) but on the other hand, we wouldn't ever lose the key that way, and the attendant was always really quick to let us in.

Excellent location opposite Montparnasse station and tower, so very easy if you are travelling by train and have a lot of luggage. Simple but comfortable rooms and not a bad size for Paris. Bed and pillows very comfortable and electric shutters means you can have complete black out. Kettle with tea and coffee was much appreciated. Not too noisy considering it's in such a busy location. Staff were helpful and desk is manned 24 hours, fine to leave luggage behind desk after check out. Check in is early (from 2pm and check out late (12pm) which is nice, to not have to rusg=h out in the morning. It's not a luxury hotel, but has everything you need, great value, comfortable and clean, perfect for an overnight stop, work trip or if you'll be out sightseeing most if the day. Most importantly I felt safe as a lone female traveller.

Elevator is narrow and standard room quite small.

Location is perfect. Metro / bus station is in front of the hotel (exit 2 is nearest). They provide luggage room for free. Around hotel has a lot of restaurants and inside Montpranasse station also. Reception can communicate in English.

It would be good to know that the hotel needs to keep the key with them whenever you are not in your room.

Perfect location for travelling around Paris with the train or the metro. I was able to reach all the major attractions within 30 minutes. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful even when I made the mistake of taking the key with me. The room is clean and comfortable.

Noise from street and downstairs bar/restaurant can be annoying

Room was a bit small and initially smelt like cigarette smoke (was much better after opening the window to air out). No power outlets next to the bed to charge devices. Soundproofing could also be improved, could hear neighbours showering and other guests using the lift.

The bed sheets had holes at some parts. I was staying at the fifth floor, even then could smell a faint sewage smell.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and nice. The location of the Hotel is very very good, it's just across the main train station. And the restaurant downstairs (Cafe Jeannette) is very good ! The room was clean enough, maybe needed a bit more vacuuming.
