We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location is very central to where you want to be. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent.

Friendly people. French speaking owners and we are English therefore language a little difficult but we speak some French so we overcame it. Immaculately looked after and room comfortable with window you can open which was nice. We used the tourism office very near to hotel to find out more info of area and where t9 get bus and train etc.

JerseyLovely little hotel in an excellent location. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with great coffee. Hotel has a few private parking spaces next door which you can reserve on a first come first served basis. Otherwise car park across the road. All in all very good. Would recommend.

United KingdomWe found the hotel quite noisy at times when other guests were partying until 5 in the morning which affected our sleep obviously. we booked the room through booking.com and the price we paid was well over the top for the room, i guess it was upped as they new that there was no rooms available elsewhere, we should of booked well in advance but this was a spur of the moment trip to the area.
The hotel was in a great location, clean and the staff very polite and helpful.

The hotel is perfectly located . Close to the port, the Casino, the market, restaurants etc . The Host are very nice, accommodating for everything that you want and always with the smile. I felt confortable going there and like home. Breakfast is very complete with everything you want British or French type with fresh bakeries. I highly recommend Opal hotel. I am very choosy when it comes to Hotel comfort and I found the one I love in Cap d'Agde.
