For some reason on the second day of our stay room service was not done. Only after contacting reception, the room was cleaned but the towels and the spa robe were not replaced. There was no opportunity to exchange a robe and a towel exiting the spa. We had to try them all over the room.

Location is great, few steps from the center and the restaurants. Spa is good although pools are too small for swimming but rather for water massages. Room was also nice with a coffee machine and a kettle.

The renovation have been done quite recently. We stayed on the first floor which was fresh and close to the spa zone.

The restaurant gets filled quickly for lunch and dinner, but there are numerous restaurant options nearby. The spa can also get busy during peak hours.

Not all rooms have access to the spa, but if your room doesn't you can pay separately for spa access. The spa is very nice and complete, with hammam, sauna, jacuzzis, special showers, etc. The breakfast is very complete, varied, and great quality.

The staff were excellent - facilities were great - the spa experience was good even though the hotel was very busy it’s summer and everywhere is busy but under the circumstances the experience was good - breakfast was good again bearing in mind how busy this time of year is - fresh and plenty of choice - well done guys and girls if you can achieve this level at the height of season it’s a pat on the back 😊

One of the best breakfast since long time ago. Hotel location is perfect in the hearth of the village. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the pool.

Excellent hotel in every way!! The staff is courteous, professional, and happy to give. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The spa is amazing!! The wate temperature is excellent and it is open until 2330 at night which is very resting after a day of hiking to relax One of the best hotels we stayed in and highly recommend. The only minus is that parking is expensive but after learning to use the parking meter in the lot opposite the hotel then it is quite possible to manage with a low fee for parking in the meter. The only thing and this is as a constructive comment that they didn't fill us the soap and didn't put tissue but this is minor but worth fixing . in each floor is a machin of free cold water and soda

I looked forward to using the gym in the morning, but it doesn't open until really late. Something like 10am - so that was strange and disappointing. Other rough edges - the sofa bed wasn't put away correctly, so the seat kept sliding to the floor. I finally realised that it wasn't zipped up correctly just as we were leaving. The underground parking is ok, not modern or spacious, but sufficient with some care, but it's expensive, more than the amount listed on Booking.com. The EV charging, which was nice, but at a crazy cost per kwh. Twice the rate of the city EV chargers, which are very close.

The suite was a good size, with a large bed (a bit soft), good shower (no bath), and a fridge we could use. The spa was the star. There's a lovely area that welcomes kids. My five-year-old son absolutely loved it. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant one time and it was good. There's a little free computer games arcade and kids play room too. It's in the centre of Aix with lots of restaurants to choose from, but it's not next to the lake.

No provision of food for guests of the hotel .We had received a message saying that a restaurant was not available during our stay but did not know this translated into no food...not even room service. The staff were " all too busy running an outside event ". Very disappointing.

We have stayed at Golden Tulip hotels before.As usual the rooms are modern,clean and comfortable.
