Three flights of stairs to the apartment was a surprise. You could hear the bar downstairs which was noisy but as soon as it shut people left ans peace returned

Fabulous location for the city centre. The terrace was a bonus to be able to soak up the sunshine. Well laid out and with everything you would need for a short stay. Parking was super convenient and secure

I could not fault anything.

The accommodation was very clean. Perfect location opposite the castle with parking included in the indigo underground car park next to the castle 2-3 minutes walk from the property. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly to my contacting him. I can highly recommend staying in this property and will do so next time I am in Caen.

The location is central and provides excellent access to restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as general shopping. The parking is secure and very convenient. It was a very good central base which allowed my brother and I to visit the surrounding area and get further insight into our father's experiences in 1944..

No lift and apartment is top floor which was hard with a big suitcase.

This is a stunning apartment, great view of the old castle, at the end of the high street. Loads of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The parking across the road under the castle was super useful and easy to get to. The apartment had everything we could need. We loved our stay here.

There is no escalator, so we had a hard time to move our luggage up to third floors. But this is the fact I already known while conducting the research.

The apartment was comfortable, bright, clean with complete kitchen equipments. It was well decorated and the beds were comfy. Located in the centre with a nice view, opposite the castle. We slept well and it is quiet. Will return to this apartment in our next visit to Caen.

Access to the car park was cumbersome.

A well appointed apartment in the centre of the city, close to all amenities. The street parking outside was busy but the car park included in the rental was only 100m away. Very good facilities, clean and spacious for two.

There is some noise from the bars below, but nothing terrible.

The property was clean, comfortable and was easy to access. The shower was great. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. My favorite feature was The views of the castle and old gothic church from the terrace. Lovely spot to have coffee in the mornings. The automatic shades on the windows were a wonderful touch. The parking pass was also a great. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. Our family of four enjoyed our stay. Caen is a great place to stay if visiting the Normandy area.

The owner of the property should consider installing USB charging points. We had expected to find them but had to go out and buy a suitable adapter to charge phones and i-pad.

The location was great. Easy to walk everywhere including Castle, restaurants, sites of interest (except Memorial) and pedestrian shopping area.

Perfect location for a visit to Caen. Parking at the chateaux nearby is easy Comfortable apartment. With good facilities including washing machine.

My only two minor issues were the floor needs a good clean as our feet were very dirty as soon as we got out of the shower room. My other issue is that it was very noisy outside all night. A chicken shop below open from midnight to 6am and a couple of bars opposite. Other than that the stay was excellent.

The layout of the apartment was superb and excellently decorated. It was also very comfortable. Overall a very nice, high standard apartment.

We liked everything about the apartment and have booked it again for next year.

The apartment is nicely decorated, clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen is well equipped. The two beds are both really comfortable. There are views of the castle and surrounding area from the small wrap around balcony. It can be a bit noisy as the apartment is on a main road but as it is on the third floor it didn’t really bother us. There is no lift, which was alright for us, but might be difficult for some people to carry cases etc up there. Entry into the apartment was easy - the keys and parking badges were in a key box outside. Parking is only a short walk away in the castle car park, although we did find free parking down the side street next to the apartment. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants really close buy. Communication with the host was really good, he answered our messages promptly.

to many stairs appartment on top floor no air conditioning appartment hot pillows flat and not comfortable also would have been nice to let us know it was the music festival which is on every year 21st of June music loud and I mean loud music til 2.30 am in morning then all the people making there way home

Very limited storage space especially, but not in my case, when four people would be there. Curtains did not prevent sunlight filling the bedrooms. I had an eye pad. Third floor, no lift. I was OK but this needs to be made clearer in the description. Key access was fine if you arrived on foot. Virtually impossible to park legally to get the key and the entrance voucher for the car park. I parked illegally for several minutes, necessary because I was a lone traveler.same problem at the end of my stay.

Lovely apartment, the host was responsive and able to advise on getting the WiFi up and running, very close to all the amenities in the town. Would recommend to families staying in the area.

Quite noisy with street noise at night and a bit tricky to find. No parking in front for loading or unloading.

The free parking card didn't work for us (could be our fault!). Moderate external noise at night but the shutters help. You have to read the instructions very carefully to find out which apartment it is! The dishwashing scourer should have been replaced before we arrived.

Excellent location. Close to many restaurants. The apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Milk was in fridge on arrival- thanks. Good views. Free parking outside 1900-0930 (if you can find a spot).
