Kitchenette consisted of a toaster, coffee maker and microwave. While there were plates and cutlery, there were no microwave safe bowls, etc to cook anything. Even the plates were only bread and butter size.

Location was perfect, so close to metro, Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe. Bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size and pretty quiet.

Slow response when building cut off water, not much flexibility with late checkout or luggage storage. Rowdy noise at night on street, disrupts sleep - bring ear plugs.

The only negative is that I never received any instructions on how to check in, as the details were never sent through to me. I have to make a phone call outside in the rain to finally get access. Once I was in, everything was great.

For light sleepers, weekend nights may prove challenging, as there is plenty of drunk and disorderly behavior in the street due to cabaret located across the entrance to the property and where windows are, but hey, it’s Paris

There is only one chair on the balcony and one wine glass, which is not ideal for a couple. There is a kitchenette of sorts, with crockery and cutlery, but nowhere to wash glasses or plates other than in the bathroom basin. The property does not offer luggage storage and there are no luggage storage facilities in the immediate vicinity.

The location is excellent - one road away from the Champs Elysees.

Initial customer service was not great. The listing said they would charge my credit card 7 days before the booking. This turned out to be false and they attempted to charge my card right away. My credit card company thought it was fraud and rejected it. Once I sorted out the credit card company, getting Beauquartier to charge me again was much harder than it needed to be. First they were unresponsive to email. Then it was a challenge (not to mention expensive) to call them on the phone being 7 hours behind French time. Their after-hours support (after 7pm French time) was not helpful. I was finally able to catch somebody who could help by calling first thing in the morning US time and we got the charge sorted out. Also, the original booking email said the ground floor would have luggage lockers. I only found out the day before in the "here's what you need to know when you show up" email that is not true. Luckily a shop a couple blocks away did NannyBag and that worked well. This seems to be a new property for Beauquartier that used to be managed by Vestay. They were just starting to put up signs with the Beauquartier logo when we were there and this property isn't even on the Beauquartier website yet. I expect they will probably get better at managing this property and providing customer service for it in the future. The floor boards haven't been replaced or refurbished in a very long time. I wouldn't be surprised if they are original to the building. Some boards were unsupported and bouncy and there was one hole in the floor big enough to drop a ring or credit card through.

The location was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Sofa bed was surprisingly high quality. The bathroom was very clean and decently size. Very quiet for being so close to Champs-Elysees. Service during our stay was good: they washed our dirty dishes for us and staff were responsive to emails. Now that I know what to expect, I'd do Beauquartier again. If what you want is just a step up from Airbnb, this is a good fit.

Although it was clear in the description that there is no stove, I very much missed being able to cook and we didn’t have washing up supplies but the managers were very good at communicating with us and have said they will resupply them promptly.

The location deserves 20 stars. The property is within walking distance of big landmarks and super well connected to the main stations by public transport. With a small supermarket next door and a couple of patisseries a few steps away one can’t ask for more.

The AC probably needs to be serviced as it was very noisy.

This is more of a service apartment than a hotel. Check in was easy with the digicode sent ahead of time. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It's also just a short walk from the metro station (line 1) so it was a breeze to get around.

breakfast was not really a breakfast - a packet of weird toast things, milk and juice we stayed for 6 nights and were only given 2 x 25cl juices, so had to ask multiple times for them to be replenished cleaners came at around 4-5pm which was awkward as this is when we would usually want to have a bit of a rest before going out again
