My girlfriend complains about the little insects in the room. Maybe adding an bug zapper is better for girls.

Freshly made and tasty breakfast provided. We can enjoy the meal in a lovely garden. The host alex is very kind to share his travel tips with us. It helps us to enjoy santorini with convenience. I also like the decoration of my superior villa cave room. We can light the candle at night which is pretty romantic. The location of hotel is close to Fira. It is within a walking distance and time. In between, there are some shops and mini market. You can get everything you need event at mid night. Last but not least, I am glad to have Alex arranged us the car from the port to hotel and from hotel to the port. Big recommendation to everyone visiting Santorini.

This is a wonderful hotel with beautifully decorated rooms. A hotel run by Alex and his mother with passion and commitment. Room cleanliness at the highest level, daily equipment service. Delicious breakfasts prepared on site with fresh products. I highly recommend this hotel, it is wonderful, we will definitely come back.

The host is very friendly and helpful , gave us a lot of tips. The breakfast was excellent- breads with variety spread, fresh made eggs, homemade yogurt with jams (I had the best Greek yogurt here!). The location is convenient but not that crowded. Their cooperative taxi company was also helpful and with fair price

Absolutely a 10 out of 10! One of the best receptions we had, starting with Alex coming to meet us and help us find a perfect parking slot near the hotel, to every morning greeting us with a very cozy and tasty breakfast, to give us suggestions about our plans for the day and help adjust them with local knowledge, everything was perfect! Alex was always available to give suggestions for good and local restaurants wherever we were on the island, as well. Absolutely recommend!

We absolutely love breakfast they served us every single morning. Alex, the owner, was incredibly sweet and pleasant. He always proposed us something new each day. Plus he helped us with advices and local tips to visit most of the island. We stayed both in the superior cave and simple cave room which were comfy, well-cleaned and tidy. The public areas were cleaned every morning so you could have both relaxing moment and the possibility to chat with other guests. The property is perfectly located cause it links you to the center of Fira in just 15 minutes on foot (2 minutes by bus). However it is also in the nearby of the bus stop which takes you whenever you want quickly and in a cheap way🤪. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED 💯

This place is great. It’s far enough away from the crowds of Fira but close enough to walk there if you want to. The rooms were beautiful and unique, the breakfast was home cooked Alex’s mum, and Alex was the perfect host. Our group of four travellers all felt like family the minute we were greeted by Alex. Even after only 5 days, there were a couple tears saying goodbye. This is what hospitality is all about.

Alex met us on arrival with a friendly smile and a cold drink. He was a superb host and he went out of his way to ensure our stay was as fabulous as possible. The location was central for exploring the whole island with easy bus access to everywhere you might want to go. Breakfast was so good, the courtyard area was peaceful but social, the rooms clean and comfortable.

Nothing, absolutely perfect.

The property was perfect in every way. The rooms are stunning, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outdoor space is peaceful and quiet. Alex and his team are wonderful, beyond friendly and attentive. Alex shares so much information about the island and best places to visit. The breakfast was the BEST! We looked forward to it every morning, fresh, delicious and homemade with love.

The only thing we didn't like was saying goodbye!

We had an amazing time at Caves n Mansion and were highly impressed with the attention to detail. It is an incredible place and run so well. Alex is a brilliant host and his mum is so kind and cooks a top class breakfast. We couldn't recommend Caves n Mansion more highly. We wish Alex and his mum all the success in the future. Alex was the most welcoming host ever, greeted us with local wine and local cheese and homemade marmalade! Alex gave us local recommendations and really made sure we were okay for everything. I really liked the breakfast with fresh and quality food. However, I would provide more choices and diversify a bit the menu especially for those who spend more than two days or so. Also I would make the effort to offer home made jam/marmelade and fresh croissants if possible because those monodose/processed ones clash with everything else.

Alex is one the best hosts I have ever had. He gave us excellent tips to visit the amenities Santorini can offer and to dine out in very good restaurants. Accommodation is clean, well designed, makes sense of the caves and located in a quiet place convenient to get Thira easily (walking distance 15/20 min).

The place was vey clean, beautiful and exceptionally well kept at all times. Alex, our host was always on hand for advice on where to go and what to see as well as places to eat, he was very knowledgeable. He made the the whole holiday that extra bit special. We already miss his breakfast and especially those yoghurts. We would definitely recommend this location and if we visit again we will without doubt be staying here. Alex we cannot thank you enough . If you want to experience high luxury and personalised service on point this is the right place to stay in when visiting Santorini. Alex and his mother were very polite and hospitable, basically they hosted us like we were staying at their own home. We sincerely appreciated the travel tips and guidance for the local neighbourhood, famous sightseeings, transportation and food that Alex gave us even on the first day of our arrival to the apartment. Alex was spending time with us every day and helping us plan our day to make the most of it. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Large hotel chains can learn a lot from Alex about how to properly manage, host your guests properly and be successful at direct marketing.

There was nothing you could dislike about the property.

The cleanliness and friendliness of Alex and the rest of the staff was far and beyond expectation. Such nice facilities and not to mention the breakfast we had every day, kept us full the entire day, not to mention how nice it was! Nothing, everything was perfect.

We had a short stay in santorini but this place exceeded our expectations. It's located in the center of the island and a quick walk to Fira. You can get the bus to anywhere in the island and won't take more than 30min away. Honestly, the best place I've stayed so far. The hotel has a family touch with homemade delicious breakfast. As soon as we arrived, Alex promptly gave us very useful tips of the island and good restaurants recommendations as well. He was very responsive to help us with any additional question we had and always in a good mood.
