This is not something that I did not like more of some advice. The lodging is a challenging 30 plus minute walk from the port. If you are in good physical condition and enjoy walking, you will be fine. If not, to be happy, you most likely would want to rent a car. The island is stunning and a car would allow you to explore it's beauty. If you have a car, just know that the roads are bit frightening, just take your time.

I liked everything and especially the owner Dora. She works very hard, is very kind and a generous host. She truly cares about her property, her business and her guests. She makes a huge breakfast, which for me was more than enough, so had the rest for dinner. I took the large apartment and was solo, perhaps decedent, however the larger apartment made me feel like I was at home, not in a hotel. The apartment is beautiful only made better by Dora's artwork. The bed was comfortable as was the whole place. There were several balconies. I liked that it was not in town and a great hike for me to go and come- I like walking and being in the environment. I liked that the apartment was remote. It allowed me to perhaps see more of Serifos than if I had stayed in the port as I did on a previous visit. For me, I wanted quiet and the only sound was the wind. It was very windy during my stay. As a solo visitor, I also felt that Dora made me feel safe and she would check on me. Serifos is very special as is Greece.

An incredible experience staying at Astra Serifos! From the moment we checked in we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome from Dora and her family. Everything was exceptional! The rooms are really nice, spacious, clean and offer amazing view to the port and the city of Livadi. The highlight of the stay was the homemade breakfast that was brought to our room each morning to enjoy on our terrace - fresh and homemade! We felt extremely lucky to experience Serifos whilst staying at Astra. The location was fantastic, close to the port with lots of restaurants (5 min drive) but still secluded and private. We hired a car to drive around the island and discovered so many wonderful beaches that Dora's family recommended to us. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Everything was exceptional! The rooms are really nice, spacious, clean and offer amazing view to the port and the city of Livadi. We used to spend all our mornings and most of our evening on the terrace just relaxing. The owner is really kind and helpful. She gave us all the information we needed to know about the island and she was always around there in case we needed anything more. Also, she was preparing every morning a "breakfast basket" for every room, which almost always included freshly made pies and traditional omelette with salad and bread, as well as fruits and a small dessert. It was the best way to kickstart your day!

We slept with the windows open and thanks to the cool breeze we did not need the AC initially. We struggled a bit during a heat wave as the AC is in the main room and takes time to cool the bedroom. There's however a ceiling fan in the main bedroom.

Beautiful apartment with scenic view from the terrace. Accommodation was spacious with a nice bathroom and the kitchen was perfect for small snacks, coffee etc. Everything was clean new and modern. Breakfast was delicious with a special touch each day. Staff is extremely polite and helpful.They cleaned up the flat every day and removed trash. Perfect location to use as base to explore most of Serifos' beaches. Would definitely recommend Astra Serifos and we are looking forward to going back.

Our recent holiday in Serifos was made truly exceptional by our stay at a remarkable room with a seaview. We cannot express enough how satisfied and grateful we were with our experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the hospitality and attention to detail provided by the lovely owner, Dora were second to none. Dora's warm and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on us. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Her genuine care and attentiveness were evident in every interaction we had with her. We felt like we were staying with family! One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to a delightful breakfast every morning, brought to our doorstep. Moreover, we were blown away by the room's spaciousness and decoration. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room's design was evident, and it created a modern, welcoming and cosy atmosphere. We appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. It was clear that Dora took great pride in ensuring her guests had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our stay exceeded all expectations. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable experience. We are already dreaming of our next visit to this slice of paradise!

Very clean and comfortable with a nice view over the sea and over Livadi. Quiet place not very far from the port (around 20-30 min by foot or 5 min by car); plentiful breakfast which one can enjoy on the terrace with sea view. Very nice touches and decorations by the owner and quite a few helpful extras like mosquito windows screens and repellent tablets.

Breakfast was amazing! Mrs Dora and her family are amazing and discreet hosts; they bring you an incredible breakfast, with handmade, fresh and typical products in a basket every morning at the time you prefer, so that you can have the best, poetic seafront breakfast you can imagine!

Although it was late at night, due to a delay of the ferry arrival, the owner, Dora, was there to accomodate us. To get to Astra you need transportation mean, car or motorbike. The room was well equiped and have a fantastic view to the sea, the port and the village of Livadi, as also Chora up on the hill. Every morning Dora treated us with a basket for breakfast and the room was cleaned daily. We had a very good time and everything was great. We definetely stay again at our next visit in Serifos.

I loved everything. A bigger shower would make the room look like heaven but I don’t complain at all.

Amazing spot with a stunning view. Beautiful rooms. Very clean and with sea view even from inside. The host was above our expectations. Anything we asked for (blankets, coffee machine, coffee pods) was given to us within a few mins.

Breath taking view, lovely host, amazing breakfast, very comfortable, big room with nice decorative touches! A nice walk from the tavernas and the lively places of the harbour town. We cannot wait to get the opportunity to return to this beautiful place and island!

Although there is a great coffee maker in the room, I love to have a tea when I wake up and then aero press coffee with breakfast so a kettle in the kitchen to boil water would have been handy.. I do admit I didn't ask to see if there was one available though, because I adapted to the capsule coffee just fine!! There is no Wifi, which can be a problem for some but mobile signal is perfect in the unit, so for us it was the perfect excuse to disconnect without worrying that we re unreachable and get lost in our books...

The accommodation is on the top of the hill offering an excellent view of the harbour and the Aegean Sea from the terrace, away from the buzz..The owner Dora is warm and welcoming yet genuine and frank, not a fake-polite hospitality person but an authentic host who shares the space she created and filled with her personal touch. The rooms are very clean and spacious with quality materials, we enjoyed long morning in reading our books and felt looked after. Livadi and all the taverns are 5 min away by car so it is a really good base to explore Serifos.

The owner of the apartments stays at the same property !She wasn’t really discreet and made us feel really uncomfortable in several occasions.At the last day she told us multiple times in a really awkward way that our dog would be unforgettable to her due to the fact she was losing a lot of coat and that the cleaning lady was exhausted from trying to clean the apartment and the sheets(the hotel description is that pet are allowed,our dog was really well behaved and didn’t make any damage ).After I gave a 7 at my review she called me at my personal number multiple times something that I found really unprofessional and rude !!

Nice apartments with amazing views ! The owner's daughter is really kind and helpful .
