clean, modern and comfortable. Rooftop terrace with views of the Parthenon. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. They offer a continental breakfast, but we grabbed an Egg McMuffin from the McDonald's a 2 minute walk away. We had a small balcony with garden view on the ground floor. The room above us had a larger balcony.

Great location. Lovely room. Excellent facilities in the room. Great roof terrace to watch the sunset. Mandy the host was amazing. So helpful and gave us lots of advice. Bag storage as we had a late flight and facilities to freshen up before we left.

We enjoyed our stay 100 percent.

.Many wonderful outdoor restaurants were very close. as were historical sites. Everything is within easy walking distance. The room was almost 100 percent marble (very classy). We had a balcony overlooking the gardens. You can get a room on the front with a balcony over the street for a few more dollars, but we were happy with our room. The front desk help was very helpful, especially Mandy who spoke excellent English as she's an Aussie. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rate was very reasonable for the quality of stay.

I can’t think of anything

What a beautiful studio apartment in the heart of Old Corfu Town. It adds up that Marilou is an interior designer. The space and appointments are beautiful. Theo met me at a cafe, which helped me avoid getting lost over the days following, and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment had more bottled water than I could possibly drink, fresh fruit, chocolates and a bottle of wine.

Mandy and staff were so welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations around the city. The location could not have been more perfect for roaming around the city center with the Acropolis on one side and Hadrian's Arch on the other. The roof top view was a lovely end to the perfect Athens day. The even secured a taxi for us in advance of our port transfer. 10/10 service!

This is the BEST place to stay. A quiet entrance right at the beginning of Plaka where there are all the shops and restaurants. It’s only a 4 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Museum. Location couldn’t be any better! The suite is well designed and calming with soft colors and fun wall pictures of Zeus. It is spacious and well appointed with coffee and a refrigerator. There is a roof top seating area with views of the Acropolis. Mandy, the receptionist, is the best!!! She is extremely friendly, talking and laughing with guests. She is full of suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. She will schedule your taxi ride and even plan your walk to where you want to go. Anything you need, she willingly and happily will be there for you. Couldn’t have a friendlier, more welcoming person to greet you and be there for your stay. We really enjoyed and appreciated our stay at the CityZoe Suites.

A beautiful small boutique hotel with just 8 rooms located in the best part of Athens, in a small street with the Acropolis at one end and Hadrians Arch at the other end. Perfect for exploring by foot, lots of gorgeous little streets, restaurants and archeological sites. The room was spacious & stylish with a large comfortable bed, tea & coffee & water provided, and had a cute balcony. Mandy was amazing, fantastic communication from when I first booked, she organized a taxi to meet us at the airport, just 45 euros & to the port at Piraeus the next day was 28 euros.

I was pleasantly surprised at how close to many shops and restaurants I was. It was quiet at night and the bed was so comfy in the Aphrodite suite.

My husband did not like the shower. It sprayed water on the floor. It was remedied by the floor mats.

The property is absolutely clean and the room was comfortable. The best thing was the hostess, Mandy. She is so full and joy and personality. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The rooftop is to die for! The proximity to all events - Acropolis, Plaka, restaurants, metro etc. - perfect!

The street outside is narrow and crowded, and some taxi drivers don't want to drop off in front of Cityzoe. But contact Cityzoe, and they will pre-book a taxi so you aren't dumped off somewhere else.

Cityzoe is my go-to for Athens. Perfect location in Plaka: staff is welcoming, they make contact just before arrival with door codes, a reception with someone there to check-in/check-out/answer questions, lift, very comfortable beds, big poofy pillows, good wifi, reasonably quiet considering the location as I only needed ear plugs when I booked a room overlooking the square, very quiet garden view rooms, air-con, heat, balcony, excellent shower, the extra bed has a very comfortable mattress, 2 tv for streaming like netflix, rooftop with an excellent view of the Acropolis, 10 minutes slow walk to the Museum or the entrance to the Acropolis, 5 minutes to a plethora of restaurants/cafes/shops, a convenience kiosk directly across the street with snacks/soda/beer/etc. The staff responds quickly to texts via whatsapp. And Cityzoe is so very, very clean.

Some minor criticisms - lack of door knobs on the cupboards which made them tricky to open. The fridge was in the cupboard and we noticed that this made the cupboard quite warm - this could be a fire hazard. Hot water was a bit difficult to regulate in the shower.

Location was perfect for us as we could easily walk to Plaka and Anafiotika neighbourhoods. Hotel was close to good local cafes so we could get breakfast and other meals. Felt very safe walking around in this area.
