The family is extremely welcoming and you feel at home straight away. There is a lovely and relaxing pool area and the location, in my opinion, is the best in resort. There are many returning guests, which says it all!

The rooms were outdated and very dark, but we only slept there so for a few days were fine.

We stayed at Despina for a week in July and had an amazing time. The apartments are traditional, very clean and comfy. The pool is great with plenty of sun beds. There are plenty of restaurants near by for dinner but the bar in the apartments, KonDimAr is also great for evening drinks. All the staff go out of their way to look after you. We made our way through most of the cocktail menu which was excellent!

everything was superb? Nothing to change

The apartments are superb and family run. we had superb service from all the family and couldnt do enough to make your time any better. I felt id know them for ages even after only a few days. KonDimAr cocktail bar is part of the apartments and do fantastic cocktails drinks and daytime food. photos on booking.com dont do it justice. rooms are basic and comfortable and overlooked the pool with great views. just wish wed stayed longer thats all. There was always plenty of sunbeds with thick comfy cushions to relax. Another bonus air con was included in the price

Only small thing was the kitchen dinner was dark but it's just a base and most time is not spent in the apartment.

The location close to a lovely bay and some excellent tavernas. the helpful brothers. Lovely swimming pool area. All kept very clean.

The three brothers (and other family) that run this hotel are gorgeously genuine nice people. Hard not to enjoy yourselves with such lovely people looking after you. They looked after me and my family like we were their own.The location is great, cocktails are great and the service first class. I'd buy each of them a pint in my local if I ever bump into them and invite them over for a barbecue or a roast dinner. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

The hotel team bring the word "Hospitality" to a whole new level. Everyone welcoming, friendly and working hard to make the guests feel good. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Swimming pool area super for relaxing. Sandy beach is a minute walk away. Nearby full of nice restaurants.

The apartments are comfortable, and a decent size with A/C available at a charge of €7 a day, and worth it with high temperatures, but even without a microwave or toaster or TV, it's a very reasonable daily price , and the whole family are very welcoming, I'm disabled and I couldn't have been helped more by the 3 brothers especially kosta , the bar area is superb with plenty of tables and seating with television and big screen so sports available, and the prices are very good,wether for beer, bottles,spirits or cocktails, and snacks pizza, burgers, etc are reasonable too, despina is about a 3 or 4 minutes walk to a sandy beech with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds, and you pass several bar/restaurants, so the location is great too, our first time here but I will definitely book again

Wifi… but this isn’t their fault. Mostly it’s just Crete

The family make this Place. Costas, Aris and Dmitris and their mum made this place unforgettable. We came as guests and left feeling as family. Will definitely get back as much as possible.
