We would have loved for a sofa or several lounge chairs to relax in.

Loved the central location, close to shops, resturants and the harbor. Also very close to the bus station. The terrace was a great place for sunset drinks and long chats. Th hosts couldn't do enough for us and were very helpful. We loved the 1970s decor.

We didn’t know the parking location before arrival. When we you put address in GPS it brought us from completely other side. Parking is right next to Senseo Club.

Due to location of property there is no parking next to accomodation, the busy roads in this town can make it stressful to find a parking space we ended up finding a free car park nearby (research prior to arrival!)

Perfect location surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and cafes. Balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of the town, we didn’t mind the noise. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, they took their time to check in on us. Hosts gathers toiletries left behind from previous travellers and leaves them in the common area for everyone to use instead of throwing out - good way to recycle

The property is located right in the heart of Chania and offers a very cozy atmosphere. The hosts are very helpful and make you feel at home. You can find yourself in a very nice conversation with the Hosts or Guests in the common area. Although parking was quite difficult to find, our host was more than happy to give us a time and energy saving tip on finding parking.

Super loud after say 10 so ask for a back room if that bothers you (fine for me). It’s probably a bit more run down that the pics show you and the room we first had didn’t have a tv as per the description. The shower was so small, but that’s just Europe in general.

Great location on the main pedestrian road of chania. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and even switched our room for us on arrival.

You can only pay in cash. Very difficult to sleep due to the noise but that's the trade off for staying in the middle of the old town. Bring earplugs! FYI you will need to carry your bags up some flights of stairs.

Absolutely lovely couple, great communication, location smack bang in the middle of the old town makes it easy to get everywhere but the flipside is the noise. Cute little terrace area with coffee/tea facilities, plates etc. Air conditioning and small fridge in the room and a small balcony.

Looking at the price and location it's hard to find anything which maybe consider as disadvangate of this place.

The location is outstanding, the room is literally on the main avenue of the city. The owners are very friendly and helpful in any matter with which we turned to them. Particularly interesting is the recycling system for cosmetic products left by previous visitors.

We didn't realize ahead of time that you can't drive close to this hotel since it is in the Old Town. It would have helped if the listing or message from the owners told us about where to park ahead of time. But once we figured it out, it was fine.

The property and rooms are certainly quirky, but very outdated. The bathroom was the main concern- the shower head was broken and didn't stay held up, so you had to hold it to wash. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, which made washing up a bit difficult. Also, not the property's fault, but we did get woken up in the early hours of the morning by the church next to the property ringing it's bells and singing- something to be aware of if you're staying on a Saturday night and don't like early mornings!

Really friendly and welcoming host, who not only showed us around our rooms but also recommended nice places to eat. The property is so quirky! We felt like we were in a 1960/70's hippy commune! The apartment was really spacious and the balcony areas are wonderful, with a hammock and view over the town square. Fantastic value for money given the size of the place and the central location.

Lively street can be a bit noisy for some. Bed not very confortable and old furniture . Not complaining, it's just info. It's not an expensive spot, so don't expect expensive service.

Old town, center, next to restaurants, bars, venitian port, etc. Lively street. The balcony to the street, nice for a drink in the evening. Nice hosts. And... AC :)
