How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The host was lovely and very welcoming and accommodating! She gave us a choice of rooms which we preferred and also recommendations for where to go around the island. The property is super close to the port and restaurants. They even have an option for car rentals at the hotel. We loved staying here and would stay here again!

The location was very good, because I had to take a ferry early in the morning, it was easy for me to reach the port by walking. The room has an authentic style and the bathroom was renovated which I appreciated very much

As mentioned in other comments, the shower is rather small but manageable. The balcony in our two-person apartment was also on the small side but we didn't mind it. If it is something that is important to you, you can always confirm the size of the balcony with the owners before booking the room.
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel. The owners were extremely kind and attentive. They are somehow able to solve your problems quickly but also find time to sit with you, have a friendly chat and give valuable advice. What we found extremely useful were the tips about which beaches to visit on windy days. We also appreciated the fact that you can rent a car directly from the hotel.

We really enjoy staying here. My only regret is instead of 1 day, I should have stayed here 3 days in Milos. Maria, our host waited for us when we arrive. Room is spacious, has everything we need. Wifi is strong, is in the heart of Adamas. Supermarket is literally minutes walk away. Maria also helped us arranged airport transfer very early in the morning. We do really appreciate this value added service.

The family who runs the business is so hospitable. They sent a minibus to pick me up from the port without any charge and were so kind. I loved the hospitality, would definitely go again. The place is very clean and very close to the centre and port. Had a wonderful stay.

The shower doesn’t have a full door; there is a drain on the bathroom floor, so the water drains. But the bathroom does get very wet with every shower.
Hotel is lovely, staff are so sweet and kind. Perfect location, near many ATV rental spots as well.

Bathroom let's it down as it is quite small and water from shower went all over the floor as no curtain or door

This hotel was so lovely. The staff were so kind and helpful, really beautiful people. The room was great, spacious, clean and with everything we needed. The location was fabulous, close to everything but a little bit away from the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend if you're coming to Milos.

Amazing family-run hotel near the main town, we were picked up from the ferry port, helped with our luggage, and got great recommendations for our first time in Milos. The room was spacious, modern and clean during our stay.

We loved everything.
Great location and the most hospitable staff! They make you feel right at home, the hotel is a quick walk to many restaurants, cafes and the main port. The rooms are clean and spacious, very quiet area. Will definitely come back.

It’s quite a noisy hotel and you hear everything that goes on in the hallways and other peoples doors opening and closing. Also noise from rooms above.
Very welcoming owners and the room was large bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location is very handy for access to the port.
