Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Easy access and parking. Comfortable bed and cool room. Great for a stop over.

RomaniaIt was not our type of hotel, the bathroom is very small and could use a renovation - at the pool we didn’t have a bathroom or a place to change after swimming - the hotel is a bit far from the beach and was full of teenagers - overall the pool is nice, but not like in the photos, could use a bit o cleaning and renovation
We liked that the rooms were spacious. Nice TV in the room.

Irelandthe air conditioning could have been better but that’s honestly the only thing we found to not like everything else was satisfactory
I loved the pool and the balcony was also very peaceful. I also liked how close the accommodation was to the main strip the staff were very nice and helpful.

FranceWe had air con issue - out of service for the first night … we had to insist a lot (…) to get the air con fixed for the 2nd and the last night - first got answer that that technician was out of the island and offering to refund a room when all hotel are booked in the area for the high season. Anyway, overall, I recommend this place. Note: even if Ypsos is crowdy with tones of Italian students “spring break style” in summer, it was not so disturbing.
Nice studio with large balcony and pool view. Kitchen with minimal gear (but lost of taverns in the area and it isn’t really worth it to cook). The pool is large.

United KingdomIt still wasn’t very busy so it was a little odd without much staff or people staying yet. The beds weren’t very comfortable but did the trick for a night.
Really good value for money. Really liked the pool area, the hotel was very quiet so we had it to ourselves at 1030 (already 25 degrees)!

United KingdomNothing, everything was delightful
The pool and gardens were beautiful. Jasmine flowers covered the dances and they made the air smell so lovely! The rooms was a good size and the bed are comfy. The balcony looked over the pool and was shaded during the day. The cooking facilities were perfectly adequate and everything was cleaned daily. The staff were lovely and the pool is a great size. It was easy to find and Ypsos is quiet this time of year which I personally prefer as they get ready for the busy season. We pretty much had the place to ourselves which was lovely.

IrelandThere was no resterant or bar facilities open so we had to go next door. There were also a lot of young people congregating in the reception area and drinking which was unmanned at night. This kept us awake on a number of times.
The staff were very accomadating, if it wasn't in the room they got it for us. Loved the pool area and the location. They also allowed us to use our room the day we were going home. Didn't leave till 5:30 when we were supposed to check out at 11:00. They have smart TV's in the rooms which was great because you can sign in to your own Netflix account.

United KingdomDefinitely the hard beds made sleeping difficult. The equipment in the kitchen was poor for those wanting to prepare meals in the room. It would be a bonus to the hotel if there were a pool bar to serve drinks and snack.
The rooms were very clean and had a seating area outside. The pool was a decent size and there were plenty of sun beds. There were ample shaded areas too. The garden areas around the hotel were very pretty and well maintained.

SpainSome noise and the electricity and the A/C switches off once you leave the room. For the A/C there should be a way to keep it on as it’s really warm and uncomfortable once you go back. You cannot open the window because then the A/C will switch off as well, so you end up staying inside for 20 good minutes while dying. The bathroom should get a refurbishment and specially the shower area with the small curtain so water “doesn’t” go out. The bathroom can also be used as an oven, it doesn’t have any good ventilation and the A/C doesn’t work there.
It has been recently refurbished and you can see it has a different style than the nearby hotels. Comfortable beds and good service from the staff. It’s five minutes walking away from Ipsos beach with several bars and restaurants for tourists. The swimming pool is quite big.

SerbiaOur studio was very dated, with an ancient inventory, kitchen was poorly equipped. It looked like it’s stuck in the 90s. Even though the room was cleaned every day, the bathroom had a specific smell from the first to our last day. Plus no active ventilation (with fan) in the bathroom = pretty poor experience. The bed was very uncomfortable, even though it had a thick mat over the mattress. Mat should compensate the old mattress, but it didn’t help much in our case. The air conditioner was also very loud, even in the “quiet” mode. Sound isolation is not so good, we could hear a lot of noises from the adjacent rooms or from the garden/pool.
The staff is very friendly, the complex looks good and well-maintained. The cleanliness was decent.

United KingdomLocal kids were so noisy in the street that we couldn't hear ourselves talk whilst on the balcony. The room above us could be heard talking very loudly all night through the vents in the bathroom. Had a very poor sleep. Room facilities were very basic. Hardly any utensils and crockery. Only 1 plug socket that worked. Beds very hard.
Nice enough looking complex and nice pool. Location was fairly good and not far from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodating with late check in.

AustraliaThe property was very dated, the bathroom was extremely worn. We didn’t feel the pictures truely represented the quality of the rooms. The AC barely worked and the fridge made a loud buzzing noise that kept us awake on both nights. I would have rather spent more money to stay somewhere else.
