Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe last part of the rond is dirt so your car will be always dirty. Don’t even bother clearing it before checking out. Pool bar is not open and you have to arrange your own breakfast (which can be far away.
Very relaxing place with fabtastic view and confortable rooms. Nice deep pool thought the beach is om walking distance. Thodoros and Angelos are very hospitable and gave us the best advice for beaches, bakeries and restaurants. The clearing lady was very good too.

CanadaThe mattress was OK but could be better.
The hotel is very pretty and ideally located. Far enough from the Santa Maria beach to be calm, but close enough to take advantage of the facilities there with just a few minutes walk. Those facilities include water sports, bar, beach restaurant, camping restaurant, and 2 mini-markets - the one inside the camping is much bigger. The beach just in front of the hotel is beautiful and nearly empty most of the time (in June). The view on Naxos is amazing. Naoussa is nice. We used the bus and rented bicycles to move around. Feasible but most people will find renting a car or an ATV more comfortable, especially if you want to explore the whole island. If you are willing to go off the beaten track, the island has many hidden gems. The room was big and had a very cool vacation feel. Our hosts, father and son, were extremely nice.

United KingdomUnfortunately due to covid, the pool bar and snack bar was closed, it would have been nice to be able to use this in the evenings, however our room had a full sized fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, so as long as you have stocked up on the essentials, you can chill on your terrace in the evenings, in a very peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting, just a few metres walk over the dunes to a very quiet beach. The pool is beautiful and very well kept. The main Santa Maria beach is about 300 metre walk. Theo is very welcoming and the young lady that cleaned our rooms (we didn't get her name) was lovely and kept our room clean and fresh daily. You probably need a car to be able to get around at night, as the hotel is fairly remote. However if you do stay here without a car (which we did), it is not the end of the world, some things to note... There is a very good restaurant situated on Santa Maria beach, which we found great for a late afternoon lunch. There is a mini market in the campsite located just behind Santa Maria beach, where you can pick up some food, beers, wine and essential items. There is also a bus stop at the end of Santa Maria beach, which will take you into the bus station at Naossa, this runs back and forth until 8pm, so is great to use to explore during the day. There are also taxi's in Naossa, which will bring you back to the hotel, although we didn't try this at night. If you are looking for a place to completely switch off and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the main villages, this place is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. They offered to arrange for a rental car (which you need if you want to discover the island) and taxi to the ferry station at competitive rates. Big room and nice swimming pool. Short walking distance to Santa Maria beach

United KingdomThe wifi does not work in the rooms, only by the pool or outside and the rooms are not equipped for self catering.
You REALLY need a vehicle to make the most of this hotel. That said, the host was a fabulous person who assisted me in transferring to another place, more suited for someone who didnt have a car :)

United KingdomAbsolutely no food or drink available. Fortunately I asked in advance so knew there wasn't even a local shop other than the resort which was a 10 minute walk over dunes and beach. Taxis were very expensive as this site is remote. It would have been nice to be able to buy a soft drink or a beer to have while relaxing at the pool. Some people did not know there was nothing within reach.
Lovely natural setting with a beautiful, peaceful garden and pool. Very close to the small beach areas. A kettle was provided with tea and coffee sachets but these were not replenished through our stay so we had to buy supplies. There was a bottle of water in the fridge which was a useful size (not a minibar size). The hosts, Theodor and Vangelis, were lovely and very helpful.

United KingdomOld compounds, has been left a bit to itself. The bathrooms are oldish, the shower has plastic curtains. Cleaning could be improved, we unfortunately had to change two rooms, as the first one smelled funky and in the second one we found (and killed fortunately) a cockroach - picture attached. Sheets are changed every two days and are left on the bed, you have to put them yourself. Access is not on a paved road. We extended for two more days and paid more than we had with booking.com, better to pay in the platform.
The location is fantastic, quiet and tranquil, you only hear cicadas. The staff is very nice and accommodating, both the owner and the son are super helpful. All the rooms have a little space on the outside where you can have breakfast or just relax. There is outside parking.

United KingdomNo dislikes. The property has a rustic charm, so we felt the accommodation was in keeping with that character, and priced very reasonably compared to many more modern style properties in the area. It felt very small & personal which was exactly what we wanted. Almost like our own villa at times; with guests off exploring the huge number of beautiful beaches and tavernas in the island. Roads in the area are narrow; and often unmade, takes some getting used to but again was part of the experience.
We wanted a traditional Cycladic property and Kalimera Paros did not disappoint. The property and grounds are so pretty. The pool was warm, a great size, and very clean. The grounds are well maintained and quiet, creating a beautiful location to relax and unwind. The rooms are cleaned daily. The owner (Theodore) and his Son are on site every day and available to help with anything. We had lots of fantastic recommendations for local tavernas and restaurants from them and Theodore helped us order take away food one evening which we ate by the pool. He also arranged a complimentary birthday cake for one of our group. The property is small so very quiet, and is in a wonderful location easily accessible to the secluded bays of Santa Maria beach with less than 5 mins walk. It really is a stunning location. Theodore had been in contact prior to arrival to check we knew that there were no on site facilities for food & drink or self catering, and that we would need transport. We booked a car and found the property easily with the help of the signage once closer to Santa Maria. Most rooms have full size fridges to store plenty of food & drink, and we also had cutlery, mugs & glasses. We asked to borrow some plates when we had cake, and a bottle opener for drinks. There is a beach bar 10 mins walk away which serves snacks or a restaurant for full meals, only open until early evening. Watersports available from that area too, and a little beach shop. Sunbeds/Parasols can be hired/booked on this beach, although Theodore offered to loan us a parasol to take to the unorganised part of the beach. The organised part of the beach became lively mid afternoon, lots of young people with a DJ playing music in the bar, although this is barely audible from the property and further along the bay if you want peace & quiet. The sea was usually (apart from a really windy day) calm for swimming, warm, and incredibly clear. Naousa was approx 10 mins drive.

United KingdomNo on-site food/drink options. A great kitchen space but no utensils, plates etc made it hard to make the most of it. Suggest having coffee and fresh juice with simple breakfast option at the pool bar, perhaps a fridge with beers and soft drinks to purchase and better provisions in the room and this would make a massive difference.
Beautiful setting and very relaxing environment. Spotlessly clean too! Gorgeous pool, very well presented and maintained.
