We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GuatemalaRoom was finished with quality fittings that seemed new. Lodge Narlis is on the beachfront in a great location with tavernas and supermarkets close by. Staff were kind and considerate and very hospitable.

ItalySimply amazing!! Everything is amazing at Lodge Narlis!! The staff is super nice and they make a great cappucino. there is a private small beach, rooms are simple but very clean with a wonderful sea view. I love this place!!

United Statesenvironment was cozy, great coffee and freddoccinos! the staff was extremely polite. the daily house keeping was thoughtful. there was a lot of natural light into the room (apartment) and the patio. the property location was a few steps away from the beach. An easy bus ride to and from Apollonia/ Kamaers for 2 € ( or taxi 28 €)

Giannis and Effie Narlis are superb hosts and their family run property was excellent! We had an apartment and the bathroom looked newly renovated with rain shower. The kitchen came fully equipped including a surprise washing machine and they provided laundry detergent and fabric softener, unexpected and welcome surprise after many days island hopping. We had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the bay, boats and sea. They helped organise our transfers to the port and car rental. And, our ferry was delayed 4 hours, they let us keep the room until we needed to go. Waking up to blue and white everything was pure bliss. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to be back!

My room had a lovely balcony with beautiful sea view! The bed was comfy, owners were very helpful and friendly, location was perfect by quiet beautiful beach with some lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Cannot recommend enough!
