Instant coffee for breakfast. Would be nice to be treated to freshly made Greek coffee. No freshly made juices.

Beds were a little hard, buffet breakfast was served by staff (understand this was due to COVID but felt a little awkward at times), guests putting their towels on sun lounges around the pool and leaving for extended periods to save a position.

We loved Hotel Matina. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Each time we asked them for suggestions (restaurants, sight seeing, scooter hire) they were spot on. The owner gave us 3 of the best restaurant suggestions we had on the Island - local and family run. Large bed, breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods, pool is cleaned daily, pool bar has a wide range of cocktails, room cleaned daily, excellent location close to beach and bus stop, great views of Mesa Vouno from the pool/rooms.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I need to eat gluten free and they were able to provide breakfast and lunch for me. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The pool area is amazing and clean as well. There is a pool bar where you can order drinks and food, which is great. I think this is the best hotel I ever stayed. Can't really think of anything that we didn't like during our stay.

Rich and generous breakfast. Nice , suny , fairy room! Pool clean and wellcoming. Pool towels offered by the hotel. Nice, noyseless bar open till late in the night and good talks! A good vacation!

Getting an outside table for breakfast was occasionally a problem - just try and get down before 9am. Sunbeds by the pool suffered the usual challenge of people putting their towels down early, but there were generally enough to go round. Beware of smokers outside if you have a dislike of smoke when you are eating your breakfast. None of these were hotel issues, just normal tourist behaviour - it didn't spoil the experience.

Breakfast offer; the staff were all very pleasant, especially the pool bar girls; location a short walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the bus station. Reception suggested 4 restaurants which we tried and all were very good.

If I must say one thing: the shower was small but we’re getting used to that in all of Greece.

Great location only few minutes walking from Kamari Beach! and all the nice restaurants. The pool and nice bar with perfect music made it a very relaxing stay!

Breakfast could be better tough, there's not much to choose except eggs and salami.

Nice hotel with clean rooms besides the pool and the pool bar. Staff was really nice and helpfull. Clean towels everyday for the pool and for the beach. varieties of cocktails on the pool bar.

The hotel room, the garden and the whole atmosphere was charming and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best restaurants of Kamari were on the same street near this hotel. We really enjoyed staying at hotel Matina!

Lovely hotel, had a real family feel about it and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to the beach and the pool area is also lovely. It was easy to get to the other side of the island using the local bus, which is a frequent reliable service. Also went on a fantastic sunset cruise which the hotel booked for us.

shower / Bad

Pool is clean and nice may but the (sun) lounger unfortunately has no constraint. and the Bath is a bit small specially the shower and only has curtain. however the manager are very friendly and the location is great.
