The room was spacious and well equipped, with a a nice and calm garden and good parking facilities with shade. The owner and the staff were all very friendly and available. We were delighted by the nice surprise of the delicious breakfast offered by the owner on a daily basis! The location of Melrose is also excellent as it is very calm although in a walking distance from the town centre.

The location was perfect, a short walking distance from the port of Skopelos while still a bit away the crowded tourist streets. The place has a beautiful green garden. The room was well equipped and had two balconies, and Maria was an amazing host. We rented bikes in the town (highly recommended!) and Melrose had a dedicated bike stand.

There is no breakfast room, so one eats in the apartment. I guess the lady would wash our dishes, but nonetheless my wife did it because she thought it rude to leave them as they were, so the only better thing would be having a breakfast room.

Melrose is a nice and roomy place, very well handled by the host family who lives at the estate. Our apartment at the first floor was very roomy, it had two terraces facing the different directions (so that one is always in the shade), and we had a washing machine. Nothing is flashy and fancy in the rooms, they are pretty basic and simple, but they were very clean and comfortable, and, again, very large. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The breakfast is served in the room, it was not much but fine (boiled eggs, fresh bread, butter, cheese and some ham). The bathroom is kind of small, but functional. As for location, it is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone in the harbor, and for the beaches one has to drive anyway. The parking, located at the site, is in the natural shade, which means a lot for the car (and the passengers). The decorations around the estate, especially in the evening, gave it a nice touch. All in all, we got what we bargained for, and the price was appropriate.

I loved the place! Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the center but in a peaceful part and it is a big plus that parking is available because it would be tough to search for a spot every day in the city. Apartments are spacious and as shown in the pictures, cleaning is regular, owner is very helpful, available for any questions, thank you Maria! I will definitely come back and I recommend it to everyone!

No lift, which makes it difficult if you have little children. The aircon is installed directly in front of the beds.

A place you feel like home! Lots of amenities for children, eg big garden, books and board games available for everyone. The hosts were super friendly and we had a very traditional breakfast served in our room every morning. Especially loved the little details of the decor!

very spacious, blinds for 100% darkness, which we very much enjoyed balconies all around, a beautiful garden to have breakfast or a drink, tvs in every room, washing machine, silent aircon in every room, lovely decorations and every detail was well thought. Sparkling clean, fantastic breakfast options. Thank you for the lovely time!

Our stay with Melrose was simply put amazing. Maria and her family went above and beyond to accommodate us. Her oldest son was delivering our breakfast every day and enthusiastically praising the local and often handmade goods (by Maria herself. he brought us. We very much recommend Melrose to everyone who wants a nice and clean room, great service, and authentic Greek hospitality! Looking forward to our next visit in Skopelos and stay with Melrose.

My boyfriend and loved staying in this studio. Maria is the perfect owner, warm welcome and always free to help. The studio is very clean, spotless and an abundant and homemade breakfast is served every morning. I strongly recommend to stay at Melrose for a great stay in Skopelos. Position is good as well.

Thanks to Maria and her Family for the kindness and friendliness. Everything was perfect. The room was clean perfectly and comfortable with two french beds + a small one for my 3yrs kid. There were also 2 big balconies very comfortable and just a little bit windy (that in August is perfect). The city center/port is max 10min walking distance with a stroller. Great Breakfast!

We loved everything at this property! The hosts were friendly and accommodated any request that we had. Beyond that, they anticipated many of our needs and were always looking for ways to make our stay even more comfortable. The facilities were pristine! There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere inside and someone was always around trimming or sweeping or wiping surfaces down around the property. The garden was beautifully manicured and perfect for our small children. The breakfast was delicious! The menu changed every day and dietary restrictions were asked about and accommodated. Every detail at the property was carefully considered and taken care of with precision and efficiency.

Bathroom could use some upgrades - shower a bit uncomfortable to use without splashing the whole room, the toilet is loud after flushing.

The room was clean (on a daily basis) and very spacious. Excellent facilities: AC, washing machine, kitchenette, nice yard - very well maintained, covered parking available. Excellent breakfast, diversified each day. The hosts are very nice people, always looking to help and make you feel welcomed.
