Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomJust to note, the terrace on the lower floor is only separated from the next room by a railing so it’s not very private. I had friendly neighbours so it wasn’t a problem.
Excellent value for money. Good facilities including fridge and TV. Small but adequate en suite. Huge terrace with sea view. I only met the owner as I was leaving but she was very nice and said I could have had a later check-out if I’d needed it.

United KingdomSmall greek family hotel, very nice and super clean. I stayed in a double room upstairs, the sea view from the balcony was great, the room was tastefully decorated with powerful aircon and fan. Very close to the beach, about 5 min walk if that. Poros is a small sleepy town, great to unwind and chill on the beach. I was there in August durking school holidays and the beach wasn't busy at all. It not the best beach for non swimmers, as it is a steep drop and big pebbles, getting in the water was a bit painful. Great for swimmers though, super clear warm water.

United KingdomThe family that run this accommodation are wonderful! Both the women (mother and daughter) made me feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to help - notably when the satnav took me into the mountains and I could not find my way to the hotel. The room is basic as in 'no frills' but incredibly clean - the remarkable elderly mother is meticulous in cleaning and replacing sheets and towel daily and has a kettle, tea, coffee, and a fridge. If you are looking for great value for money and enjoy simplicity and warm hosts, then please book with Hotel Galini, they're great and I hope to return! Thank you Efie and mother

United KingdomNothing, it was all lovely.
Great location near the sea. Very clean and spacious room with balcony looking towards the sea and a very useful fridge, cutlery and crockery. The elderly lady who ran the hotel was really lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We also really appreciated the lovely home made moussaka which was left in our room and was the best we have ever tasted. We will certainly return to this wonderful hotel and island.

This year new stove was installed. Contains also kettle, toaster and device to prepare milkshake or frappe! Staff: Probably one of the sweetest and kindest people on the planet. I was even treated to some home made Kefalonia pie one day and it was delicious. She helped map out a route for me to take on the scooter to see the island. Honestly amazing. United KingdomI have no negative comments as I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
The family who run the hotel (Effie, Eric and their mother) are exceptionally kind and wonderful people. I received so many acts of kindness from them it made for a great holiday as I was a solo traveller. They want to ensure your stay is happy. The place is kept spotlessly clean with many changes of towels and bedding. A great shower, comfy beds and excellent air con if you need it. There is also a safe for valuables in each studio. All of the guests I chatted to were really enjoying their stay and like me want to return because of the warmth of the welcome. it is in a wonderful location with.great sea view and vert near the beach which is peaceful and beautiful. it is a short walking distance plenty of tavernas, supermarkets and shops. I highly recommend a visit as you will be given a wonderful welcome and have a great time.

United KingdomNothing really everything was perfect but for feedback I'd say:, it was a bit of a strange mix between an apartment and a hotel. There were lots of permanent amenities but not many temporary ones to go with them (there was 1 toilet roll and a small hand soap dispenser but no shower gel, hand soap bars, tea bags for the kettle etc etc) despite this staff came in every day and washed and folded your bed sheet and towels which while a nice touch seemed unnecessary or potentially intrusive. But for the price it was excellent, in places it was old but it was well kept and fresh and amazing value, would 100% recommend to anyone
The room was large and well kept with lots of facilities (washing machine, kettle, hair dryer, fridge-freezer, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, cutting knife, pegs and a washing line to hang clothes, 3 towels, a key lock safe, hangers, open wardrobe, shelves and TV (though it was unplugged with nowhere obviously to plug it into not that I tried as I wasn't interested in tv) ) The WiFi was excellent (was able to video call with high quality resolution and live stream a football match) Wonderful views from the beautifully maintained balcony across to the sea, harbour and mountains Shutters kept the room dark Air conditioning worked wonderfully at cooling the room, best I've experienced in greece Perfect location - 1 min walk to the seafront, 10 min walk to the supermarket and centre with closer restaurants and takeaways on the way Friendly, welcoming staff Felt very safe, when there was a powercut they had backup lighting so we could see our way to the exits etc Clean Powerful shower
