Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyWe have been there for one week in July, the location is incredible 5 min and you can find one of the most beautiful corfu beaches. The only thing you can get there ONLY by car, so if you choose that hotel think about renting a car right away. 1) breakfast is perfect, Homemade production, small kitchen, only about 10 tables So you feel at home :) 2) the owner is the nicest man ever, hard-working, polite, punctual, kind 3) swimming pool is good plus 4) the room is old but it’s ok for that price Everything is working this is the most important Also small kitchen inside! I would come back 💙 Recommended!

SlovakiaSoundproofing (you can pretty much hear voices or crying of baby from the next room) but of course you are not in a five star hotel so you cant expect this.
Welcoming staff (the owner waited for us because of our late arrival, in the room there was a welcome bottle of wine and water...). Delicious breakfast (with home made olive oil, cookies, home grown vegetables...). Nice, clean and pretty big swimming pool. The room was spacious enough, clean, nice white bed linen. Lovely surrounded by olive oil trees and nice garden, very relaxing to stay in the outside area. Good restaurant with a nice sunset nearby (also a beach).

Nikos and his mother were very friendly, helpful when we had wishes. It is not a new hotel, but I saw Nikos áll day around the house painting, fixing something, cleaning the amazing pool which has a bubble and back massage function. There were nets around the windows, comfortable bed, air condition. Every greek should be like they are. Top hospitality 👍

United KingdomFrom the start the location was perfect for sun and relaxation. With access to the pool all day, a hot tub and nice sun loungers or if you'd prefer the beach is 150m down the road. The rooms while basic, were accommodating and breakfast was available every morning. The in room facilities were good, with a fridge, stove and kettle accessible and other appliances available too you can easily whip up simple meals if wanted.

Italy- a car or motorbike/scooter highly recommeded - next supermarket is 2,5km away. Nico gave us a ride back to Bus station when we left, that was awesome! - water in shower needed a long time to get warm - should be no problem in summer
very remote, calm and relaxed area, very good value for price, Nicos and his mother Angeliki were very friendly and pragmatic. The pool was awesome, everything clean. Breakfast buffet good with lot of homemade food. Nice sandbeach just 5minutes away. some very friendly cats (as there are cats in each hotel in Corfu, but these had good manners / I wonder how Nicos managed that!)

GermanyNikos and his mother were very friendly, attentive and always wanting to help. As we did not have an own vehicle, Nicos gave us a ride to the next supermarket. We enjoyed, that the place is situated in a calm area with lots of olive trees around and less tourism. The prasoudi beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming. You can rent sunbeds and an umbrella for 6€ a day. There are two simple tevernas located at the sea offering a nice view on the sunset. At Prasoudopetra you can have a breakfast for 5€ per person. They offer vegetables grown in their own garden! The pool is also clean and nice. Notice that there is no bus station located nearby, so you need a transfer to the next Green Bus Station (BP Gas Station or Mesongi). The taxi from Mesongi to Prasoudi was 25€. Nikos brought us to the BP gas station for a little donation.

United KingdomThis was the first stop on my Corfu Odyssey and I cannot have loved it more. Set in an olive grove with a gorgeous pool surrounded by vivid blooms, it felt magical. The place itself is spartan but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hots were so kind and accommodating. Our plane as late, so they waited up for us. The chilled bottle of water and wine in our apartment was a lovely addition. The apartments are a 10 minutes drive to the lovely village of Agios Matthios, 15 to Halikounas (were you may spot flamingoes) and about 30 to Santa Barbara beach and the gloriously sandy beaches of the southwest, where you can lounge on a sun bed or bring your own umbrella, walk 10 minutes away from the crowds, and feel like your Robinson Crusoe. It was a perfect introduction to Corfu!

United KingdomYou really need transport for this place. It isn't in the village but that isn't an issue unless you had planned to use public transport. Thecshower sometimes only ran cold or stopped running, which I think was a water pressure issue.
Nikos was very friendly and helpful. He took me to the local supermarket (5 ks away) as I didn't have a car. Pool is fantastic with a wonderful spa part and great depth. It really is very close to the beach. A very peaceful and chilled place. I would rate this much better than 8 (not sure how that was calculated) for the cost.

United KingdomI can't think of anything ... being there for too short a time! There may be a little more traffic in the high season, but it was fine at the end of May.
The hosts were very welcoming. The location is lovely - peaceful and away from the towns, with little traffic. The swimming pool is wonderful and the flowers and trees around it are beautiful. The room is simple, but there are good anti-mozzie screens for the terrace door, and the cooking facilities look very good - it's well equipped. We had the hotel buffet breakfast - it was excellent, with lots of local products made by the owner's mother - there was a huge choice of delicious things. There is a good taverna at the beach. There was also very good and shaded parking.

PolandWe liked the location - a bit off the beaten road even as for Corfu, but it was very peaceful with a short walk to a very nice beach, 5 km drive to an authentic village of Aggios Mattheios, 15 km to exceptional beach of Issos. Also Moraitika and Messonghi are 10 minutes drive away. Owners make your stay even more pleasent with simple but tasty and organic breakfasts - worth spending additional couple of euros. Pool is simply a treat - well maintained, pure water.

Excellent place for families with little kids. This was our second time at Prasoudopetra and I can definitely recommend. We felt welcome and well cared for. The owners go an extra way to meet your needs. They offer very nice breakfast with fresh vegetables directly from their garden, homemade marmalade, fresh bread delivered by a local bakery, fresh lemonade from their own lemons and of course their own olives and home made olive oil. Although the place is only about 5 minutes walk from the nearest beach, the swimming pool is a great bonus for kids to play in while parents relax on the balcony.
