We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

There was a sporting event taking place at the hotel during the day, as evidenced by numerous children dressed in ninja attire running around. This likely explains why the parking lot was packed when I arrived.

United StatesExcept for the last morning breakfast expereince, all was good. Staff firendly and helpfull. Hotel clean, pool area clean and the staff at the pool bar and area attentive and helpfull.
Breakfast was up to a par, and good for the first two mornings. warm coffee, ample juice, great variety of food etc. The 3rd morning it was way below par. Coffee was done, and not replaced even after we asked, Juice was done, Half of the food was done. Maybe just a staff issue. All and all a good breakfast expereince

RomaniaIn all fairness, the hotel should not be rated as a 5 star hotel. I can only imagine what you would pay in full season for a room with seaview and it is not worth it. It needs some renovations and improvements. You don't have a beach, but this is the area, not their fault. You have to pay separately for spa facilities, only the indoor pool is included.
For us it was a very good value because we had like 40% discount. Also, because it was off season and the area was kind of empty post the storm, they were very nice to upgrade us from a room with no balcony to a room with seaview. The breakfast is also very nice, a lot of choices, you can get something else each day. The pool is great, although not heated.

Italythe rooms and the bathrooms need to be refreshed. The beds are uncomfortable and the choice of pillows poor.
Valis is a large hotel and a conference center. The location is good, just in front of the sea. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are large. It has a nice outdoor swimming pool, a spa and large common areas. The breakfast buffet is very nice and the pool bar and restaurant are good. We were there during the worst possible period when storm Daniel struck and the whole area around Volos was flooded. The hotel was the only structure in the area with electricity and the few remaining staff worked extremely hard to keep us safe, dry and fed. We would like to thank them for their efforts.

We arrived while the storm Daniel disrupted the city. The hotel staff did every effort to make the stay comfortable. Heroes. They managed to keep the generator working, filling it with petrol all day long. They keep providing food while no supply was availlable. Appreciated!

RomaniaThe pool bar had a restaurant- which we used for lunch: we ordered pizza and pasta .They brought us some pasta with a a salt less basic red dressing ..and supermarket frozen pizza ( heated at microwave). Unacceptable in 5 starts hotels!

IsraelThe food in greece is incredible, almost every where - yet the food in this hotel was disappointing. Also, this is a pricey hotel, compared to other places - and breakfast was included in the deal, yet basic things like capucinno cost extra... So is breakfast included or not :/ Also, there's no coffee machine / electric kettle at the room, which is found anywhere else... The advertised beach access is misleading, theres no real beach strip for this hotel, at least not a decent one. For any real decent beach (and there are many in Pelion) one would need to take a car.

The staff were excellent and accommodated out last minute booking and arrival and went out of their way to make sure our two rooms were on the same floor at least. BelgiumOld facilities not maintained at all . Starting from towels, furniture and really obvious on outdoors area ,balconies &pool . Apart from being unacceptable it caused also a feeling of being dirty in common areas such as the corridors carpet full of stains. Though you could say the hotel used to be very well designed today's condition is way below a 5 star hotel and should not be priced or presented as such. It is a clear management decision to proceed with some renovations as the building and overall setup provides opportunity to change this clearly disappointing condition of today.

AustraliaThe room we stayed in was very outdated and not particularly clean. The internals of the buildings were very run down and unmaintained.
The pool was great with a lifeguard on duty. Drinks and food available by the pool. Breakfast was great with lots of inclusions. The towels, both pool and shower, were ratty, often with lots of loose threads and multiple had actual holes in them. The spa was fantastic for massage services.

United Stateswe had a “suite” which was a pretty worn out, albeit large, room with a remarkably worn sofa bed. calling it a suite seems a bit disingenuous.
kids club was nice, but doesn’t have a bathroom so they send the kids down the hall to a lobby bathroom in their own, which isn’t so great with smaller kids. still, out kids enjoyed it. pool and the main/afternoon lifeguard were great (morning lifeguard spent most of her time looking at her phone, not the pool). good shallow area for kids and floaties to borrow. also was surprised that the water wasn’t drinkable in the room and there were no water bottles provided (just a minibar with drinks for purchase).
