Everything was perfect for us

I have chosen this villa together with my wife in order to spend our honeymoon, I truly believe it was the perfect place and it really came as a gift to us. The place is a piece of heaven, with an impressive garden, passionately cared by the owner's father - Spiros. An oasis of tranquility and a place where we charged up with energy and relaxe. The Agios Ioannis beach is close, max 10 min walking, the rooms are clean, every day the cleaning lady was there, changing linen and towels ones during the week. We thank Mike, our host from the first day here, for fulfilling whatever requests we had during this holiday. Last but not least, we thank Spiros for the special way he treats his guests, he really is a special man, blessed with the love for plants. On our departure, he offered us a lot of flowers that we liked during our stay. For us, it remains our dream holiday, we will always remember this beautiful island and this place of heaven where we've been accommodated - villa Dimitris Apartments and Bungalows. In conclusion, we kindly recommand Villa Dimitris and for sure we will come back.

The only downside (this is why onyl 4 stars) is the very bad internet connection. In the room the signal is too weak and even outside it isn’t stable. My wife and I work both 100% remotely and this was quite a problem. I have told the person in charge, but I don’t think that anything will change since the problem already exists for 4 years (according to the reviews here). We also had a local sim card with unlimited data, but because the apartment is in a place where mobile reception is also practically non-existent, that didn't help either. The location itself isn’t the best. For the beach it is good (5min) to walk, but to go to the city or a grocery store you need a taxi or a car/scooter. For someone who doesn’t need internet connection it is a really cozy place and if you have a car or scooter, it’s even better.

Very nice pool and surroundings. Kitchen in the room is well equipped (better than expected). Room itself cozy with a comfortable bed. Room was cleaned every day. Staff very friendly.

The common space with the garden and the pool is very beautiful, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Plus, the beach was very near, less than 10 minutes walk, with a bars and facilities, and affordable prices. 8 min by car to Lefkada town, and close to a Lidl.

Location is perfect. Very close to the beach. Garden is probably the best thing about this property, there is a plenty of garden furniture so you don't need to worry if there is other people using the garden at the same time as you. Property is very nice and tidy. Pool is amazing for small kids as well as adults. Lots of apliances like kettle, hair dryer, iron etc. Property was always quiet and peaceful so you could enjoy your mornings as well as the evenings. I want also to mention that the host was lovely and gave us his contact number as well as the email in case we need anything. They have a lovely gardener as well who gave us samples of some of the flowers from the garden so we can plant it back home. Wi-fi was very good. Overall 10 out of 10, we will be back again for sure. This property is worth every penny if you are looking for quality time.

Firstly and most importantly, I appreciate how welcoming the host (Mike) was. He was extremely friendly, flexible and gave very useful tips, about restaurants, beaches, other interesting locations and how to get around the island. The location itself was for me perfect, you have mountains on one side, and then there is a beautiful sandy beach nearby - just a 3 min walk. The properly was also very beautiful, clean and peaceful. Highly recommend it!

Only downside was gnats/mosquitos. thats not the facilities fault obviously but be prepared for them at this time of year.

location was perfect for our family and we had hire cars to access the whole island. I would definitely recommend you have transport as it is quite a walk to local town. The hosts and facilities was exactly as described and shown in images. great value for money. the whole island overall was so relaxed and friendly. the restaurant's we visited was out of this world, great service and food. very quite, chilled holiday. Not too touristy at this time of year and had most beaches to ourselves. beautiful island and would recommend.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful, well looked after garden setting. The bungalows are nicely spread out so everyone has their own space. Our host, Spiro, was so welcoming and friendly - kept us well supplied with figs and plums from his own garden. The cleaning service was great - clean bedding and towels every third day and rubbish cleared daily. It's a bit of a walk into town but the beach is only a short stroll away, with some nice tavernas and restaurants - lovely to watch the sun go down over the sea while eating dinner! Halfway between the property and the town is the Bad Wolf restaurant - great for traditional home-cooked food! We didn't hire a car this time but made the most of the bus service. Although the service is limited, you can get to most of the beaches by bus from the Marina bus stop. We did check out car hire in a couple of hire places in town- it seems they bring cars in from the airport, so you need to give them a day's notice at least. It seems that car hire is cheaper from the airport than hiring in town. All in all a lovely holiday - would like to come back an explore a bit more of the island and would definitely stay at Dimitris Apartments again!

Although the location was nice and quiet, you have to drive through narrow road to reach the hotel.

There was nothing that we didn’t like, insofar as it was exactly as advertised. Of course it would be easy to improve but we had 4 days to kill, wanted Sun and pool and nothing more so it was perfect for us!

Our little bungalow had everything we needed AND we were 10 paces from the pool. A lovely quiet location which was exactly what we were looking for! We knew having read reviews that it would be a 15 min walk to the nearest mini market and a further 20 mins to walk to Levkas which was no problem for us and we enjoyed the walk. Might not be for everyone though? Next time (we will go again as I have a boat moored in Vliho) we might hire a scooter or car but for this trip it wasn’t needed.

disaster! first we came to the accommodation where no one was there, we called several times and no one answered! after 3 hours a man appeared and brought the key (he brought it to a cafe in town). The beds are uncomfortable, our spines still hurt from them. The apartment stinks. The kitchen is dirty, only the bathroom was renovated, everything else is dilapidated and old. This accommodation is part of an agency that deals with the rental of several different accommodations. The advice for everyone is to ask carefully where they are booking.
