How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very spacious apartment! Clean and well equipped. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of Zagreb. Safe area, I went for a run alone and felt very comfortable! Eva was a great host, very responsive, meeting us to hand over the keys even though our flight was delayed. She saved us a lot of money with helpful parking tips too!

The blackout curtains in living room are narrowed, so light comes in as soon as dawn.

It was all good.
This is an awesome pace to stay in Zagreb. It is only a 15 minute walk from the park where many of the tours do their pickups. This is a full apartment, decorated beautifully, with two bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room and a good sized bedroom. The management was excellent and even called a taxi for us for our early morning departure. We were really pleased with everything about it. We use Air BnB frequently and it is one of the best we've had.

Unfortunately, during our stay, both bathrooms were moldy. The extending couch in the living room was also very uncomfortable. The mattress dipped in the middle and the system creaked loudly with every move.
The apartment we had was large, with 1 bedroom, 1 living room, and 2 bathrooms. As a group of 4, we really appreciated the 2 bathrooms. The bedroom was large and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was small but usable. The location is great, being quite close to the city center and there are plenty of cafes and eateries around.

What a huge surprise this apartment was! Much bigger than we expected. Had absolutely everything and more. Shame we were only there for one night. Lovely hosts that welcomed us and organized transfers. We could seriously live in this apartment. Book the purple room. It’s awesome! Thank you for a wonderful one night stay and all those special surprise treats that made our stay so memorable.

The parking is a based on how lucky u are. We had a parking in front of the door, but it is regular paid parking. So there is a chance that the parking spot is a bit of a walk and search.
Great appartement, allot of space. The host was really nice. And replied quick when asked questions. The airco works nice. The bathroom with second toilet is good. The location is perfect.

The second bathroom had an odour that made the room unusable.
A large comfortable apartment. Our host, Borna, was amazing! We had one of our suitcases stolen on arrival Zagreb and Borna provided excellent and considerate support. All the facilities in terms of kitchen and laundry were well presented and were excellent. The air conditioning worked very well and we had a comfortable bed.

Air conditioning only in the lounge, so the bedroom was too warm for me. Beds were a little soft (personal preference I guess)
Great location, very walkable to the main square, host was great and met us to help out with parking. Provided city guides and info to the nearest grocery stores and bakeries.
