Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkThe upstairs bathroom was a bit cramped with an unusual smell, however, that is only a minor thing compared to the benefits.
The location is ideal in the center of split, walking distance from practically everything. The rooms were nice and spacious. The owner was very accommodating and helped us book transportation to and from the apartment.

United KingdomThe shower door was loose and we were very careful using it, we reported it to the owner while we were there. We asked twice for bowls to eat our cereal but none were forthcoming. The kitchen sink had no draining area and no tea towels, again we asked but none arrived. Glass ceramic hob is very close to the sink! Both dangerous (water and electricity) and impracticable.
Very appealing, central location, lovely greeting, they even let us check in early (much appreciated, thank you). Good terrace to sit on that got the sun mid morning/early afternoon so cool when you needed it. Lady who met us was very informative and told us about Cicibella, the restaurant nearby that was an absolute gem!

United KingdomDisturbed sleep as a large group of men sat outside the bedroom window late into the night. I'd recommend that the table which is located outside the window is moved so this is avoided in future.
Location, room layout and size all excellent. Great communication with owner who was very accommodating and helpful.

The house has a great location just outside the Split old town. A calm and safe area with several interesting houses and cozy restaurants.

United KingdomWe had both the Deluxe King Studio and Superior Apartments. Ana met us to show us around the property and responded quickly to any questions during out stay. Super central location in walking distance to an array of pubs restaurants, beaches as well as the ferry port. Both apartments were clean and had everything you could need as well as outside seating areas which are hard to come by so close to the centre of Split. Deluxe king studio was on the ground floor and Superior apartment on the second level up a very narrow staircase which was not a problem for us, but my be for those with mobility needs.

FranceIf an apartment has a kitchen then it would be appreciated to have basic cooking essentials. Coffee capsules or loose coffee, with sugar, milk etc. should be standard. Also missing is bottled water in the fridge, at least 1 bottle on arrival. The mattress is tio soft for my taste. The noise from the guests below may be annoying.
From the moment we met Anna we were whisked to our apartment. It's a great location, a minute walk to the port and close to lots of lovely restaurants. Everything about the apartment was great. The decor, the linen, the bright modern bathroom and the large terrace. A lovely place to stay for a few nights to in Split.

United KingdomIt would have been nice to have the following in the flat which was otherwise beautifully appointed.: Showermat, a couple of wine glasses, a bottle opener and a teatowel for drying the dishes. Otherwise, all great.
A great location a stones throw from the seafront and palace so wonderfully quiet but close to everything. Also a great sun terrace for sunbathing. Ana was great meeting us and gave us lots of helpful tips. Highly recommended.

DenmarkWe had the loft apartment and the room was not clean, when we arrived. The toilet and the fridge were both dirty, so we had to clean it ourselves and we did not want to use the kitchen during our stay. The towels and sheets were also dirty and the host was slow to change them, when we asked for new ones. Because of this we did not feel comfortable in the apartment and we only used it for sleeping. The room was smaller than expected. The stairs leading up to the apartment were very narrow. There was no hot water in the shower, so we had to take a really cold shower the first day - this was fixed later on. Every time we showered, the water was leaking out. All in all the apartment was far overpriced. We stayed at three different places during our week in Croatia - all at the same price level. This was by far the worst and the cleaning was just unacceptable.

South Africawe stayed in the loft apartment , and it did not live up to my expectation. very low ceilings , we kept bumping our heads water from the shower leaked all over bathroom floor as water didn’t drain away fast enough . The stairway to our room felt like we were climbing into a hole , very narrow to get cases up and down 🙈 only one tiny knife in kitchen, not very well equipped was looking forward to an outside area ? there was none for our room
