Nothing. Split seems to have everything.

The location was perfect- just round the corner from the old walled town. Lots of little shops, bars, restaurants- all in amongst the historic and beautiful old town. Evening music in the square was a treat.

The doors to the property were difficult to work/lock. Bit of noise from surroundings, didn’t bother us at all but thought should note for guests who would mind the noise.

location was AMAZING, so easy to get everywhere we needed to go, shops and restaurants just outside the door and all meeting spots for tours within 5 minute walk.

The room was on the fourth floor with no elevator. We had to arrange to have our bags carried up (poor guy). Aside from that, it was fantastic!

The communication with the host was fantastic. Because the room was on the fourth floor with no elevator, a young man was contacted by the host to carry up our luggage. That was fabulous. Everything else was fantastic: roomie, great bathroom, clean, great location.

A couple minor things, not deal breakers: -A watch out that there are quite a few stairs to climb to get into the apartments. We got help to take our luggage up the stairs though (thanks Jago!!) -The shower ran out of warm water within 3-4 minutes of running (appreciate this is probably not normal). Not a deal breaker for us as it was very hot outside! Didn't mention it to owners as we were having cold showers given it was peak summer, but more for owners to know about it now Other than that great stay and would 100 percent recommend as accom for split.

Very spacious and lovely to have an unexpected living room. Clean and comfortable Staff were very responsive and they were kind enough to help us in taking our luggage up the stairs and show us around the room. They stressed they were available for us to contact anytime :) Excellent location, in the heart of old town. Easy to walk everywhere and great to have a few beaches within walking distance too

During the evening it is pretty loud (considering the fact that you are in the city center and not so far from the apartment you have a lot of night clubs). For us it wasn't a problem, but in case someone has problems falling asleep you should consider this. The apartment is on the fifth floor without an elevator.

First of all, the location is very comfortable, it's in the city center so you can visit all the main monuments and attractions of the Split city by foot. Another positive thing about location is that if you need to take bus Nr.12 (which bringa to the main beaches in Split) it's literally down the street and you get there in 3/4min. The main bus and ships station is also very close - 10/15min by foot. The apartment is pretty new, very spacious and you can find everything you need in the room. The staff was very welcoming and responded to all of our requests (even gave us some advice). I would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone, especially if you want to stay in the city center.

Really spacious and comfortable room with great air con and shower, in the perfect location in Split right next to old town, 10 min walk from the ferry port, and 20 mins or less to the beaches on either side. Also a short walk from Marjan where we did a lovely hike to the viewing points. Hosts were really friendly and helpful too

The location is perfectly situated to get anywhere you need to. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Jago was helpful with our luggage and gave us plenty of great tips of sites to see and restaurants to try. Nevena communicated with me the entire time to ensure we had everything we needed. Very good value for money.

Do not book if you have any trouble walking up stairs. This room is on the 4th floor up 8 flights of stairs! We were told we would have help carrying bags when checking in but the lady didn’t help us at all. Also only had 2 really soft pillows, barely anything when laid on.

The location was amazing. Central to everything you need, 5 minute walk from the ferry port, the palace, close to restaurants and shops. The bed was super comfy and air con worked great!

Amazing location, great hosts and excellent in terms of communication etc. Small room but was everything we needed for our stay in split. Couldn’t fault the location etc. excellent value for money in our opinion.

Bastion is really great place to stay, rooms are nice, clean and modern with super comfy and big beds. Locations of hotel is awesome, there are many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. One thing worth to mention is that the hotel is located in old town that can be busy and a bit loud at nights (that's expected when you stay in the city center I guess) we didn't had a problem to sleep but some might be more sensitive. Contact with the hotel was I think the best I ever had. From the beginning Nevena answered all my questions and was there when I needed anything. Also our host Jago was very helpful and spent so much time to mark on map the best places to visit and where to eat etc. It was extremally helpful as we were big group and first time in Croatia. We really appreciate how well we were treated there :)

No complaints about the property.

Our room was lovely and clean. The location was very good and the staff were amazing. Jago checked us in and was very kind, friendly and helpful. He spent some time showing us a map of Split and recommending what activities to do, what sights to see and restaurants to visit which was very helpful and appreciated.
