Polite staff, tasty breakfast, clean and big room, central location, big pool

Having to leave and come home...

Perfect in every way. Breakfasts were as superb as we remembered them last time, and the evening meal we had on the terrace, by the pool, was exceptional. We rarely make return visits to hotels, preferring instead to discover new places. However, Dolphin Suites is utterly irresistible. And, it's adults only, meaning the pool area is just heaven.

Non existing carpark. You have to leave the car in the free carpark in the woods uphill, but it's not far, 4 min. You can't reserve a place so you have to search for one every time you come back.

Breakfast was great, but it is always the same, so if you are stayimg longer than 4 days it get's monotonous. It would be great if they would offer more vegetables and some other bread than the toast. Croissaints were delicious, but marmalaide offered on the side should be of better quality. The pool is great, sunbeds also, rooms very big and comfortable, everything is clean. Nice big towels. The staff is great, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Special jewel of the place is Diana! If you're looking for nightlife, you will have to go to Mali Lošinj. If you need to check out early, make sure you pay the day before because we had to wake up the owner at 7.20am even though it says that checkout is from 7 a.m., he came at 7.40a.m. so we missed our ferry.

We loved our stay here. Really chilled and was exactly what we were looking for. The staff, location (just up the hill out of the main town) food and facilities were all fantastic. Cocktails were amazing. Yoga was a lovely touch. And we can’t thank the staff enough - after our ferry was cancelled they were so kind to help us find another way to get to Veli losinj.

Wi-fi is quite bad, bathrooms are open concept (no walls) -who likes it (I dont) go for it, breakfast is a bit boring, especially if you stay for a longer time. We were informed at a check out that it is possible do order anything you want, but we were unfortunately not informed on that possibility prior to check out. Rooms do need some improvement and reparation.

The warm welcome. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful, attentive and smiling & made us feel totally at home in this hotel The yoga class with an excellent teacher (the lovely Diana) set us up for the day. Marnix the chef and manager of hotel prepared delicious fresh and healthy food for breakfast lunch and dinner and ... at reasonable prices too. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon. ABSOLUTELY adored Veli Losinj, the island of Vitality ! A super great find for us ! We'll be back;)

There’s nothing to dislike about this place.

It felt like second home to us. The team is brilliant. Well managed and kind, every single one of them. Quick to help when needed and always aware of one’s privacy. It is place to relax. Quite tones of lovely music, peaceful enough to finish reading a book, next to a very-well-taken-care-of pool. But just few steps away from buzzing and most magical little town. The food in the hotel is great, wines lovely and they make beautiful cocktails. I could see myself coming back year after a year.

My husband and I loved our stay at Dolphin Suites. We stayed in the “garden suite” which was super private, large and comfortable. The AC worked great! The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit to Losinj. We are “gluten-free” (which can be hard while traveling) and everyone was so helpful in accommodating our needs. The food and beverages were delicious and their pool zone is a great place to chill in the afternoon after exploring the island. The hotel is centrally located. It’s very easy to walk to Veli Losinj marina and other gorgeous swim spots, or take a short drive to Mali Losinj & other island destinations. We LOVED Losinj island and we’re so happy we chose to stay at Dolphin Suites!

You can't access the hotel by car. There is a free parking like 2 minute walk, but it can be a little tricky if you travel with a lot of stuff, but the staff offered help :) We would appreciate more sweet options for breakfast.

Really nice and clean room, the hotel is very small, so there's a really good and quiet vibe, breakfast is delicious!! (Not that many options, especially for sweet breakfasts, but really tasty) the coffee is amazing! Nice little garden with swimming pool, but also really close to some nice beaches.

We loved the warm welcome and the refreshing welcome drink, pleasant but unobtrusive staff, the complimentary water and beer in the room... Breakfast and other meals are above and beyond, especially enjoyed by the pool with some tasty cocktails. Hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the town center but is still in a quiet locale. A shop is right by the entrance. We usually stay at 4 or 5 star accomodations but this still felt a bit special. An exceptional boutique experience - we look forward to making this our yearly Lošinj getaway.

- We loved everything but maybe I would suggest better products in the bathroom - in the other places we stayed there were Rituals or Occitane products - The hairdryer provided is a bit weak for long hair - One of the cocktails was not served in the usual glass and was not really as expected - comparing with the food level, cocktails were below. These are just suggestions because the place is excellent 🙂

- Food was really delicious - we loved the flavours, the variety and the presentation. Breakfast was the best I had in the past years - I stay on average in 10 hotels per year - Very nice pool, very comfy sunbeds - Large bedrooms, confortable and clean. We felt good in there. - Professional and attentive service. The best place we stayed during a trip in Croatia, would absolutely recommend !

The WiFi connection could be improved, even though it can be difficult to improve further given the generally low connection of the area. There is room for a slight improvement in cleanness.

The suite room was spacious and incredibly nice, and the bath tub was definitely a plus. The staff were very friendly and provided us with helpful guidance. The clearly recently renewed Hotel is generally superior to most of the other Hotels in the island.

If you're looking for quiet and relaxed sleep avoid room 101, noise from terrace and kitchen and again early in the morning. Other rooms maybe don't have this problem.

The location. Breakfast and lunch/dinner menue, delicious food with quality ingredients. Better food and ratio value for money than in restaurants in the city. Great pool area.

Since it is in the city center it is not really accessible by car, but you can leave it on a free parking 5-10 min away.

This is a nice little hotel, with a lot of soul and attention to details. We had a spacious room that looked over to the old town. The staff is very nice and helpful, they are serving an amazing selection of cocktails and a great breakfast. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a boutique experience in Veli lošinj.
