There was no coffee in the room and breakfast only started at 8am. So it would have got full marks if there was also coffee in the room.

Lovely hosts, really warm and welcoming. It’s right next to the beach and there are some really nice restaurants near by.

The only negative was the price of taxis on the island. Zavala is fairly isolated, and this was ok as so lovely but to get elsewhere cost a fair bit without having a hire car

It is truly very good and peaceful. The only downside is that the bed is not comfortable.

It is very comfortable, and the staff is very kind. It offers an excellent breakfast. It also provides a communal refrigerator for guests. The town is a beauty, surrounded by beautiful beaches. It's the perfect place for those who want to relax. We will definitely be back.

A bit inconvenient parking, but we still found a place for our car. Some guests were smoking on terrace while the meal was served, may be this could be handled better by owners.

Located close to sea, our room nr. 2 had a great sea view from terrace, friendly owners, tasty food prepared by them. We did a lot of one day trips all around close and far from Zavala. Good place for sleeping. Room was equipped with silent air-conditioning.

The only downside was a bit weak WiFi.

The woman who was the owner of the facility takes great care of her guests. A very positive person. A nice gesture was also a treat with delicious home-made wine. The apartment was very clean, quiet and provided a lot of privacy. The owner reacted positively to every inconvenience that appeared. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in silence.

A bit difficullt to get there with a very old single lane tunnel through the mountain and several 180 degree switchbacks beautiful views but a bit scary for my wife

The only thing which would help this accomodation to be even better is that the rooms could be renovated. Then, the hosts could charge people even more. This accomodation has a potential.

The best on the apartment was the location in Zavala. There are very nice beaches around, good options to eat out. The rooms were clean and the view, too. Parking is possible there. I also very much liked the breakfast, which also offered glutenfree option. I enjoyed the time there.

Only one room was available at the heat of season, and it was probably the smallest room. While it still has all you need, it is not so comfortable for more than one person. However, there are better rooms in "Marjan" with balcony that I would recommend you choose.

Excellent location, a few steps from the beautiful beach. The owners very pleasant and hospitable, premises clean, breakfast on a nice terrace with sea view; only make sure your room has a balcony and, if possible, sea view. Katica makes some delicious orange marmalade and olive oil. Zavala is a place with mesmerizing sea view, smell and isolated feel. A place for a good rest.

We enjoyed our stay in Zavala. The hosts were very friendly and we liked the breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. There was a terrace with view on the sea. We drove to Hvar town in about 45 minutes.

Pity our arrival seemed not to be prepared. Still an extra mattress and other stuff in room which was removed directly. I would have appreciated a ventilated room a bit before arrival, due to cleaning smells. Very basic furniture etc

We rented the apartment and a nice touch would have been some tea/coffee and milk in the kitchen as a welcome. Also the bedding for the sofa bed wasn’t in an obvious place and there was no sheet. The owners were very friendly though which more than made up for it.

No tea or coffee in the room. No blankets. If you wish to sleep late… this is not your place: We stayed 2 nights. Apart from the fact we were woken up twice before 0830AM because the rooms are very noisy and you can hear all guests leaving the premises as if they were a stampede… personnel knocked out room door twice until we answered before 0900AM.

The view of the sea side room was nice. Quietly situated. Limited but fresh breakfast. Fast response to online questions.

Only reachable by car or taxi. Seemed to be confusion when we arrived so check in was a bit strange.

Firstly, we were sent to Pansion More instead, even though we had booked with Pansion Marjan. I guess the owners are neighbors and friends…but we didn’t appreciate this as I wouldn’t have booked More on my own. Payed 206€ for 2 nights and got a small bedroom with plain white walls and a bathroom. Good that we had a nice balcony view, that saved the situation a bit… Breakfast was included in the price but was very poor IMO…had bread, cheese and some ham. Small portions of granola and coffee… Wifi was working very poorly (super slow)….

The rooms were clean, bed was comfy and water pressure in the bathroom was good. Air conditioner was working properly. Staff was also very friendly. View of the sea from the balcony was the best.
