Not really a negative, but be aware that you need to go up several sets of stairs to reach the property. Mightn’t be easy for some.

I initially struggled to find the apartment, though I’m sure it was just because I’d been travelling non stop for a few days already and I was pretty exhausted. There were a *lot* of steps leading up to the apartment, which obviously can’t be helped but aren’t ideal if you’re hauling luggage about, and the booking page definitely does mention steps in the description. If you’re carrying your luggage to check in, I’d just recommend trying to come into the complex from the road at the top of the hill so you can walk down the stairs, rather than coming up the steps from the beach-side road at the bottom. The only real issue I had was a local bar playing quite loud music, but I just popped my headphones on to ignore it.

The whole apartment was really clean, the bed and pillows were genuinely so comfy. It was probably the best nights sleep I had during my whole trip. The small under counter fridge and air conditioning were also really appreciated. The apartment was in a great location, just 5-10 minutes outside of the old town and about 2 minutes from a lovely looking beach and other transport links like busses and taxis. My host was really friendly and gave me the Wi-Fi password straightaway after showing me to my room, which I really appreciated as my phone data was intermittent at best and I’d been struggling to contact my family.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and too many stairs to climb but this is a problem for the whole old city so nothing to do about it.

The sea view was amazing. And the host was always responsive and helpful.

I liked everything about the property but the stairs to and from were a lot on a hot day but we knew that when booking so nothing to dislike

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and pillows were flat. I still have back pain 3 weeks later and I'm only in my 20s. The shower was also really small, but honestly not a big deal for me.

A house has very thin walls, all the voises from the other rooms and a corridor comes through. Because it is only o room, a (breakfast) table is small also. (If you come with a car, a parking is a problem, and also very expensive in Dobrovnik).

A clean basic room included all you need for a stay. Good instructions to arrive.

The room smelt strongly of cigarettes, and as other reviews have said, the bathroom smelt very badly of sewerage.

Excellent location - few mins walk to Banje Beach and around 10 mins walk to the old town. The room is cumfy enough, good for a short stay.

for me the 120 stairs were ok but for an older person not- my father of 85 would have joined me and he would not have managed - need to know about that before you book

Great location; close to cable car, old town, and some nice swimming spots. Q uite authentic experience, clean and comfortable quarters with all necessities. Very helpful host. Greatly appreciated how helpful and accommodating the host was. Truly felt like a valued guest!

It would have been nice to have some more space to hang/dry your clothes. You need to climb very high and steep stairs if you want to get to the old town or beach. If you don’t like stairs or have bad knees, this is not the accommodation for you ;)

Great location with beautiful views over the sea and the old town. Haven’t seen the owner at all but we had good contact online and the locker box outside was a very convenient solution! Beach is 2 minutes walking and the old town less than 10 minutes. Was perfect for us!

Small room, hard-to-find apartments, lots of stairs to climb.

Great view from the window, quiet air conditioning, easy check-in. Communication was smooth and pleasant. The location is 10 minutes from the center, close to a bus stop and a bus stop from the airport into the city.

no clothes line. the one that was there was hard to use and only one peg.. a sign or two in the suncana street indicating where the flat was would help for people unfamiliar with Dubrovnik’s address system
