The room had all the amenities inclduing fridge and small washing machine but it did not have a kettle

Hosts were excellent, apartment was fantastic - within the Old Town and walking distance from everywhere including the airport shuttle bus. Close to all the historic sites, ferry terminal, market and other bus stations, I certainly recommend this place and will stay here again when I am next in Split.

Staircase is steep and rickety. Bed was very hard. Shower handle gave a static shock. Air conditioner needed to be manually started with a pen (but it did work). Poor communication at check in.

Perfect location in the heart of the old city. Large room.

The only negative for me was noise level you can literally hear every footstep and the conversation of the people above you and it didn't have a little balcony (which I knew at the time of booking).

It is so central your literally inside the old palace walls and it was extremely clean.

no clean towels or bedding provided even if they were left on the side i wouldnt have minded and no shower curtain so the bathroom floor gets soaking wet especially after 2 people shower

The rooms are not all the same. We had a room on the top floor and the stairs could be a struggle for a less agile people.

It was so close to the harbour and great value for money. The accommodation is basic, but functional.

Cannot expect a lot from a budget property with great location. Though feel that some basic amenities could be improved e.g. shower was missing a curtain, one light was faulty, no soap / shampoo in bathroom etc.

Location location and location. Cannot get better location than this to stay right in the heart of old city inside the walls of castle. Hosts were very nice and responsive. Value for money.

Aircon didn’t blow cold air. Host left key under doormat for us to check in - was told by the restaurant worker downstairs that it was there. Never met the host

The room might use a little renovation, it's quite basic but also perfectly comfortable, and it has everything one needs for a short stay.

The location is excellent, one is in the middle of the Old Town in Split, easy to get to attractions, port, bus station. The owner is very nice and helpful, the price is adequate.

The stairs were steep, especially with heavy bags. The small kitchen had old equipment and the shower in the tiny bathroom had no curtain.

the studio apartment was at the top of a very old stone building, with a view of traditional courtyard, restaurant and washing lines. The location was right in the centre of the old town. The owner was friendly.

Entrance is a bit hard to find - in inner courtyard with sign for Makrun restaurant. A bit noisy from the restaurant below.

Great location. Clean and comfy bed. Helpful staff - assisted me with forgotten items in wardrobe. Old building with atmosphere but no high ceilings as it appeared on photos.

We found the shower went cold after a while esp when we used it after each other but it wasnt a major problem we just had shorter showers. We would have liked a rubbish bin in the room aswel but again wasn't a big problem for us.

Absolutely fabulous location, right in the city centre, couldn't have got any better. Our host was lovely and very informative. The room was really comfortable and the black out blinds worked a treat! I liked the decor of the old brick wall, beams and the lighting inside the room too. The place felt very safe and secure. We had a lovely stay here.

The wifi connection was not great and dipped in and out throughout my stay. The air conditioning did not have a remote so could not be used.

Excellent host, extremely helpful with lots of tips for the best places to visit in the city. The room is in a brilliant location for exploring the Palace walls and easy to walk back from the bars, restaurants late at night. Very close to the ferry port and bus station too.

The coldness - but I kind of expected it since it is a very old building. However, there is an A/C to compensate for it.

I like its location, very close to everything. The staff who takes care of the property is really helpful and very accommodating.

TV and WIFI service were not working.

Owner was very helpful and met me outside when I was having trouble locating the property -- a lot of small alleys with twists/turns.
