This place is a true slice of paradise on the mountain top of Hvar with absolutely stunning views in all directions! The location is ideal, out of the touristy hustle and bustle of the towns, but still very convenient to everything. It's a very small boutique hotel with only a few rooms, but they are very spacious and have luxurious appointments, a sort of mini kitchen, and a serene private patio area. And the gorgeous pool area is an oasis of tranquility, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. If we knew how fabulous it was, we would definitely have planned our trip with more time here! And Slada, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and full of fun! The whole experience was just wonderful, and we plan on returning.

WiFi not strong.

A lovely, memorable stay in a superb place in an amazing location high up on Hvar with beautiful views and sunsets. The room was great - luxurious with all the amenities you could want - and the staff (family run) are kind, helpful and generous. They really make your stay special. Lots of walking trails through lavender fields nearby and a you can also get to Hvar town and Starigrad easily in a car. Would like to go back!

Breakfast was a bit hit and miss and probably the only Aspect of our stay that was a little disappointing. Staff didn’t really seem to want to serve breakfast and the options changed daily including things that were suddenly not available! Food came out at different times which often meant having to wait long periods of time to start to eat and always without plates or cutlery!

The location was beautiful, as was the pool and communal areas. Our room was large and very clean. The hostess Slada was amazing and recommended everything for us, she was so helpful and lovely. It really is an idyllic place, views on both side of the island and the infinity pool was lovely.

We were blown away with how responsive, friendly, and helpful the hosts were! They made sure we are comfortable and had everything we needed. Every recommendation they gave us, whether it was a beach or a restaurant, was right on the point! They know this island in and out! The apartment is really spacious and well equipped. The private terrace and the pool are amazing and the views are spectacular. We would definitely come again!

Further out from the main towns than expected, definitely would hire a van for the week next time as taxis are €40-50.

The location, experience, quality if the whole accommodation inside and out and surrounding areas. were all beyond exceptional. The whole place was pristine the owners and their family were so friendly, kind and such wonderful people we cannot recommend our experience enough. Everything was perfect and far exceeded any expectations. Everyday other people passed our accommodation throughout the day and marvelled and stopped to comment on how incredible it all looked. The restaurant that is part of their family next door was absolutely insane, clean, original and unique tastes intertwined with stunning ingredients. Nothing was too much trouble the professionalism from the whole family and their staff was by far the highest and most impressive of the whole island. The whole experience made use feel so relaxed and happy.

Located high on island halfway between Hvar and Stari Grad. Somewhat isolated from night life but easy drive to town(s) or beaches if you wanted. Superb view. Restaurant attached with small but excellent menu. Great swimming pool. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. great apartments, comfortable well appointed, well maintained and very clean. Internet a bit hit and miss, probably due to location as WiFi signal seemed strong. Not a problem unless you needed to work. Would certainly return.

The location and the property were absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in real life than the pictures can do justice to! The restaurant next door was one of the best restaurants we visited in Hvar. The owners and the staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Will 100% recommend to family and friends, and will definitely come back for another stay!

Exceptionally beautiful and well maintained property with friendly staff. Peaceful atmosphere and the room we stayed was really nice. Excellent restaurant Alavia just within few steps (open for breakfast until late evening). Amazing view, must experience, photos don't make full justice.

That we couldn’t stay longer

It is so hard to find the right words to describe our stay at Vidikovac Levanda. We arrived a little bit earlier and it was absolutely no problem to check in one hour before the official checkin time. Slada showed us everything and gave a lot of great recommendations for beaches, restaurants and trips. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful, well equipped and we missed nothing. The views were BREATHTAKING!!! We never saw something like this before. No words could describe how beautiful it really was. We just stayed for 4 nights but it was so hard to leave not only Vidikovac Levanda but also Slada, Marin and his Mother. All of them made our trip more than special and they became like family in this short period of time. If you look for the most beautiful place on earth, don’t look further ! Marin also helped us to rent a boat in Hvar. The guys there were also very friendly and absolutely professional. We looking forward to come back soon ♥️

The place is higher up on the hill so it has wonderful views of both sides of the island. The pool is awesome. Just seeing it so perfect when you wake up is so satisfying in addition to those spectacular sea and mountain views (you really can't get enough of them). The night sky is also amazing up there as the place is alone on the hill, so there is very little artificial light. You can see so many stars (unlike in most cities). Breakfast is rich and delicious and the family who own and run the place are very nice. You can see how much effort they put in it all. It is totally worth the short 15 minute drive to Hvar Town (same distance to Stari Grad too).

If you're looking for a relaxing stay outside of Hvar town centre with an attentive and helpful host, then Vidikovac Levanda is perfect. The rooms are very well equipped and decorated, really clean and comfortable as well. The infinity pool and sun beds are perfect for a lazy day of lounging, perhaps after a day of exploring the beautiful nature surrounding the apartments. Pool towels are provided which is a lovely touch. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided every morning, which includes homemade honey and fig jam that are local to the area. Getting to chat with the team in the morning is such a nice way to start every day as well. The restaurant is close for the season. However, we did order a peka for lunch with Slađa, and it seriously was the best peka we've had on the island. It requires pre-order and coordination with the team, but it is so worth the planning. Honestly the best thing about our stay was the kind and attentive host. Slađa and her team are incredible and made us feel right at home. If there are wasps, they respond immediately with the right remedies. If we needed drinking water, they're there to help us get it right away. We feel like we've gain a host family in Hvar and really looking forward to seeing them again in the hopefully not too distance future. Thank you for being so hospitable Slađa and team, we adore you all.

Extremely soft mattress! It did not provide any support for the body. It was the only negative, but unfortunately very significant, as we did not sleep well and did not rest enough. It's a shame because the bed is very spacious and you can see that it wasn't cheap. And problematic wifi

Very beautiful place, great pool, everywhere clean. Beautiful and modern apartment. Very, very willing, kind and accommodating host Slađa. Thank you very much for your care. The head of the kitchen even prepared breakfast for us at 6 in the morning for the trip on the last day, unfortunately we did not have enough time to thank him.

A bit far out from Hvar Town and Stari Grad, about a 15-20 min drive, but we knew that in advance. Sometimes wasps around the pool due to surrounding lavender.

Beautiful property, with amazing pool and views. Great breakfast- chef went out of his way to cater for our kids. Owner was lovely and very helpful.

The WiFi was very poor and pretty much didn’t work. There were several wasps around but this wasn’t much of an issue in the early morning or late night. Breakfast was very tasty but the same every day.

We loved the views and the pool, the suite was very modern and had excellent facilities and a cool bathroom. The restaurant on site was extremely tasty.

Limited breakfast items. Wasps swarmed breakfast table, landing in the juice and hone, landing on ham etc...maybe the area could be screened in. Wasps are a very common problem in the whole area.
