How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Some things didn’t work and we couldn’t figure out how to get dishwasher to start. WiFi good in main room but weak in bedrooms.
Clean and spacious 3-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment in good location. Well-equipped kitchen with full sized fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, etc. Lots of dining and living room seating. Full sized bed in second bedroom wasn’t very comfortable but others were ok. Host was very responsive and guided us into parking garage when we arrived. Washing machine was convenient and easy to use. Nice balcony/porch area overlooking the harbor.

The property was in a great position walking distance to the historical centre . The booking agency were extremely responsive and we had no trouble checking in .

The corridor leading to the bedrooms is very dark even though the rest of the apartment has a very good lightning. There is also room for improvement with the pillows.
Well-equipped, air-conditioned, stylish and spacious apartment with an an excellent location. The apartment is close to old town but yet far enough from it in order to guarantee a peacefull goodnight-sleep without any noise from the streets or bars.

No private parking, initial booking stated and that was why we booked....... But we did find two spots free so didnt mark the place down..... Apparently the blurb has been changed now to more accurately reflect....
Location is awesome. Plenty of room in apartment. All very neat and tidy. Lots of kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook. Linen was good quality. Bathrooms are a good size.... Thoroughly recommend this apartment to others.....

The layout was great with a kitchen and sitting area. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms apartment with a washing machine. It was very spacious and an easy walk to Old Town. The only problem was we had two apartments for the 6 of us and we had to deal with two different people to let us in and they weren’t very thorough in their explanations of getting in the apartments-in two different buildings-and any help with getting around or other general information. We also had to wait about 20 minutes for the keys which was okay as the weather was nice.

Josip was there to meet us on our arrival. We also used his taxi service as it is much cheaper than taking a taxi from the airport. He was also helpfull with tips on what to see and do in and around the city.

location was hard to find. kind of an old industrial looking area. we booked for 5 but one person slept on the couch because the pull out bed was too small. other beds in the house are between queen and full size. No channels on the tv so could get news

TV remote control was not very unusable and inconvenient and we didn't know how to use AC. It would have been very helpful if there was any guide. However, it is just suggestion and not a complain. The rest was everything good.
Apartment size was perfect for 7 people. It would have been even better if we had one extra bed but it was still manageable. The owner was very polite and very helpful through out the time. He even met us at the road to guide us and take us to the apartment.
