Cleanliness in the bathroom did not meet expectations

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Classic luxurious design, felt like we stayed in royal castle. the dining room feels like it was an old opera house. Location was perfect as well. Staff was very professional and kind.

Service in breakfast room was exceptionally slow and inattentive. Had to pick up our own a la carte eggs from the kitchen after a 20 minute wait while restaurant was nearly empty.

I understand hotel has different policies when it comes to early check-in. But when the room is ready, the receptionist could check in the guest early, especially when they are in a rush. The receptionist at this hotel literally waited until the scheduled check-in time to give us the keys.

The location is right next to the parliament and right by the Danube river. There are one subway stop, multiple tram and bus stops. We literally stayed in the middle of everything. The room was big, nice and clean. The spa (thermal bath) was quiet and not crowded at all but you need to let the reception know when you will enjoy the spa so that they can limit the number of spa guests to under 10. I must say the hotel spa (multiple pools, heat room and Sauna room) was a much better experience than the public thermal bath. It is a good value compared to other European cities.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. I have had better breakfasts in 3 and 4-star hotels. The selection was not very large, everything was presented without care and did not look particularly appetizing, including the items we ordered directly from the kitchen like fried eggs and avocado toast. There is definitely room for improvement."

Nice, large room, generally clean. Many attractions are within walking distance and the metro is also not far from the hotel.

Location is superb, a lovely area with easy access to key sights, shopping and restaurants. Well served by public transport We used the Metro and tram, for first time, which was surprisingly straightforward (we bought all day tickets from the ticket vending machines). The hotel spa facilities are very good. Breakfast had comprehensive choice.

When I went to book a return taxi to the airport they wanted to charge me 12 euros more than this website.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. When you come out of the front door and look right, there are the parliament buildings! A street back from the river Danube, so a very good location. Close to excellent restaurants and other historical sites. The bedroom was very large with 2 bathrooms and very clean throughout. Highly recommend. The history of the hotel is also fascinating.

The location is great, being in the center but not noisy, with short walking distance to metro. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very attentive and keen to help with any requests (thanks Jaime). The breakfast was great and the staff were very professional and attentive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we're in Budapest.

An excellent location to tourists spots. Two minutes walking to Parliament building and Liberty square . Very friendly staff. They helped us staying very comfortable.
