Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SerbiaThe duplex seems like a nice idea, but realisation could be better. Celling on the "second floor" is too low, stairs could be problematic since those are very narrow so be careful. Although the room was clean, stinky bugs were constantly coming from somehere, so in any moment there was one or two of them. Be advised the kitchen is shared, although it doesn't look that way on the photos (truth to be told hotel selected it as shared in the information). And now the worse part BATHROOM DOORS. Doors are actually sliding glass cabin doors, and there is literally a hole because doors can't close completely. This can be very uncomfortable since anyone in the living room can see you in the bathroom. Also shared area in front is not isolated that well, so you can hear everything as it is happening in your room, kitchen in the shared area is not well equipped. Even though we selected the "couple" option we recieved twin bed instead of double.
In general it is a good place to stay. The location is in very center of Szeged, furthermore every imporant sightseeing in the city is close to you (max 5 min walk). Staff is very friendly, kind, and fluent in English. Our room was big, clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a fridge, tv, good internet connection, big table (especially good for if you need to work) and the bathroom was fully equipped. Also heating sytem funcioned quite well. In the summary nice hotel and solid choice for staying if you choose Szeged as your destination.

RomaniaThe location does not have its own parking lot. Also, the tram passes right in front of the hotel and the noise is disturbing for the city view rooms.
The property is located in the city center. This is great!

RomaniaWe went in the middle of October so they had the heat on, but it turned out to be too hot in the room, so we had to open the windows. By opening the windows we could hear the cars and the tramps passing by our window ever so often as it was right on the street below. We had no soap in the bathroom, they just forgot to refill the soap holder. The beds were not very comfy, but we slept ok-ish.
Great location, right in the center of the city, friendly staff, well equipped, cozy room. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, bars and the main attractions of the city so you don't even have to think about public transport. They give you a 10% discount at the restaurant downstairs. Water, tea and instant coffee offered charge free in the room.

HungaryI brough my dog and he sleeps near my bed at night but I didnt know we would have to go up and down a perilous flight of stairs with no protective rail and that the glass balcony peice only coveres half the loft railing. I had to block the staircase at night to stop him from trying to go down in case he didn't see the way. I wish I just knew that in advance because I would have made up the downstairs sofa bed for myself.

SwedenWe haven't had problems with the following items, but they could cause problems for certain guests, this is the reason why they are listed under "What didn't like". - The tram line went just in front of the window - it did not bother us as it was weekend and we did not spend lot of time in the room during the day. - The beds are places on the high loft, that looks very cozy and stylish, but the very narrow stairs to the loft could cause issue if you have disabilities or a bit overweight. We would not recorded climbing those stairs when you are drunk. - you cannot park the car in front of the hotel, as the narrow street is reserved for trams - so if you follow the GPS to the hotel, try to part the car earlier. There could be problem with parking in the city center as this is expensive an crowded - but the good new is that during the weekend the paring is free all over the Szeged city.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Beautiful area. The hotel is easily reachable. The room was clean and tidy, and we liked very much the common, living room like are that are shared between two separate rooms.

HungaryThe tram runs in front of the accommodation, so the sound of the tram can be heard in the room when a train passes. The gallery can be uncomfortable for older people.
The accommodation is located in the centre of Szeged, with all major sights within a few minutes' walk. The rooms are pleasant, the bed is in the gallery but easily accessible. The rooms are clean and well equipped.
