Needed more restaurant options, but understand that they are still getting back to full capacity and are renovating, needing staff etc after closing resort due to COVid.

The property has been beautifully restored after having to close during COVid. The gardens, buildings and pool area were amazing. Rooms cleans and freshly renovated, beautiful traditional Balinese style resort. Some of the resort is still being renovated, but while we were there, this didn’t impact our stay.

Although the beach was lovely, it was choppy when we were there and unable to swim in the sea as much as we wanted to.

Luxurious hotel, exceptional service and really good breakfast spread. The beach and pool facilities were beautiful and clean. It’s not many places where the price of a glass of wine is almost equivalent to water! Dinner at the hotel was also delicious.

Breakfast for similar range of hotels normally have lot more varieties than provided. The hotel facilities including the architectural aspects requires uplift and maintenance. More kids activities would be a welcome change for the hotel

The grandeur balinese style architecture combined with very calm, secluded and serene location is hard to find. I would recommend it to the couples without kids who are looking for a perfect getaway to relax.

The ongoing renovation. It wasn't too annoying, but I would like to have avoided the smell of paint a couple of times. The beach was the best compared to what I had seen on the island, but it is still far from perfect. A good deal of litter on the beach and in the water. It would be a good idea for the staff to clean it every once in a while. The water in internal ponds is quite dirty.

Outstanding location, magnificent hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and beautiful pools, gorgeous garden, and the best beach on the whole Bali.

The fact it’s huge need to walk a lot and not enough staff with proper training. They only smile and greet you, but don’t really want to do their work and you can feel it. Breakfast had flies on the veggies every day, even call out attention to be removed, the solution was not follow up and happened daily. Cleanliness of restaurant and rooms weren’t great, including toilet not well cleaned, heavy smell of products which would last whole night, don’t even know what was used to clean… maybe the drains… beautiful old property that needs upgrade on the rooms (lighting system, power outlets, faucets, shower heads, toilet).

it is too big and going from one end to other end is a long walk and the property should have battery operated golf carts for guests to move around the gated area where the property is located.

the property was under renovation and the pool was shut. The property was relevantly empty and you do not get to see people around and so it is very quite in the evenings.

the hotel was under renovation and there weren’t many other guests so it felt very quiet and eerie. not many other Australian guests around. the main pool wasn’t open due to renovation. a team of pestering ladies trying to sell me stuff…

The room was a good size and it was nice to sit out on the balcony. The breakfast was nice, however it was very far from our room.

Resort was still recovering from effects of Covid with many facilities not yet operating (E.g main pool, gym, 3 restaurants on site, squash courts) and so felt rather large and empty.

Buffet breakfast was great with lot of variety and staff were very accomodating and helpful. The beach is very clean and the infinity pool near the beach is really good also and it is a short walk into Bali Collection for shopping/restaurants.
