We had the normal rooms not a bungalow. The furniture was old and the lock of the door to the bathroom was broken. In general the room needs some renovation done Little storage surface. The fridge was very loud and had mold in it. For a short stay it was okay, but I would not recommend this room for a longer stay The prices in the restaurant are high

The location was nice (close to balangan beach) but it is far from other beaches, uluwatu and other attractions. This location is good for surfers who only want to surf. The sunset view is also nice from the property. But there was no view from the room.

We have the family bungalow with the queen bed on the second floor comfortable bed and pillow but even with the air conditioning it was hot during the night

Not many food places around or basic shop so if you don’t drive can be a bit isolating. We only spent our last 2 nights here so wasn’t really an issue and ideal area to just relax. Smelly bathrooms that made the whole room smell, stern receptionist.

Unfortunately the location is a bit far away. You do have Balangan beach which is a nice left break for surf but if you aren’t surfing, options on food, shopping and nightlife are limited or non existent. They only provide water upon arrival but not during the stay, the food was ok, the sink for bathroom wasn’t clean and the trash can lid was pretty gross. All minor things but still make an impression.

Staff was very helpful when I needed them. Property is beautiful, nice pool, great sunset view and peaceful at night. Beds have the net around them and I encourage you use them! Bed was comfy I slept great. Water pressure was good, aircon was cold. Room and bathroom were clean.

Cute Rooms with nice outdoor shower are and a pool. Not to far from the airport for a first stop to explore the south of Bali :-) Service is super friendly

It's difficult to access for those with knee problems due to many high and uneven steps. The path to the sea is cumbersome. The sea isn‘t clean.

Maybe not good option for families with kids - it’s allowed to smoke arround the pool and if you are in one of bungalows, smoke and smell reaches you. Also - surfers like partiing in the pool in the late evenings. Very weak internet - not a place for online working. Restaurant has very good food, but prices are too high. On the other side - there are not many options arround for breakfast. At the other hand - staff was very friendly preparing perfect porridge for our alergic kid every morning! This was exceptional! Also got sutprise in the last morning - our bed broke through the floor of bungalow! :) This is common in Bali - wood is very thin.

Visualy great hotel, nice view, very, very friendly staff. If you rent bungalows, you get 2 floors of it.

Had to buy bottled water. Usually you can refill your bottles. Terrible. After four days I had a huge collection of empty plastic bottles. Wifi not great.

Both rooms (stayed in a basic room with a fan and the AC-ed one) were rather small. The one with a fan also was quite dark (even with lights on), was very minimally furbished, so I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Also, note that it's kind of an "open-air", i.e. bugs and mosquitos could easily fly in under the roof. In the AC-ed room the shower was not too comfy: the holder is placed super high and if you use it water splashes on the door and ceiling, more than reaching you, so you have to always hold the shower head in your hands. Also, a note about the beach. 7 min walk from the hotel, there is Balangan beach, which is suitable for surf, but not really meant for swimming: sharp rocks and corals + shallow entrance + strong current. So I was taking a grab bike to Dreamland beach to go for a swim. We had some miscommunication about the change of rooms (from fan to AC), but eventually, we sorted it out and the host provided a reasonable discount for the extra payment.

The Balangan Sea View Bungalow is located in a peaceful green quieter part of Uluwatu, you could see cows munching grass by the roads and hear roosters in the mornings. The territory of the hotel is very green , drowning in tropical plants. I think it's a good spot if you are looking to have a chill family vacation. It's quite easy to get to all the hip spots of Uluwatu from there by bike (up to 30 min). The pool is big enough to swim and it was very clean too. Rooms are cleaned regularly and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view of the ocean is beautiful, especially when looking from 2nd floor terraces.

No wifi signal in the room area. Shower was not good, the support doesn’t work properly so we have to hold the shower which make things very hard.

The hotel really worth their price

Nice place to stay at Balangan beach. View was fantastic, nice point to enjoy the sunset. The restaurant was delicious with normal price. Staff was really friendly and really supportive. There is a possibility to rent a motorbike directly in the hotel.
