The walk to the main road can be tiring due to having to walk up a hill but this is not a massive issue as it only about 5 minutes.

The property is situated in a location with a great view. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very special. They tend to all your needs and focus on providing a great experience.

Wifi is not perfect in the rooms, you need to be on the balcony, but who cares it is vacation :-)

Amazingly friendly staff, great location; very close to ubud center, but in a calm area. Breakfast was nice, good rooms. Close to nice restaurant and shops. Would recommend.

There was a bit of an unmade road to negotiate back to the main road. Not a problem in the dry, but if there's a downpour expect large puddles and wet feet!

Beautiful gardens and surroundings on the edge of the jungle above a fast flowing stream in the valley. Lovely inifinty pool looks out over the jungle. Breakfast was excellent, served to your table. The night we arrived it was too wet to go to town, so we stayed in for the BBQ with local music and dancing - this was all well done, delicious and all you can eat!

The aesthetic, the location, the views, the staff, the room. Everything was so wonderful about this little escape right in the heart of Ubud central. If you’re planning a holiday to see Bali, this is the place to stay to have that little escape from the bustle of the traffic and markets and people. It’s just lovely.

Very poor Wi-Fi , only worked in a small area of the room this was inconvenient. The breakfast was not consistent our last American breakfast was very cold and didn’t eat due to worry’s about health.

Very clean, the pool was nice and the staff were friendly. Particularly the restaurant staff and the dinner menu was nice and reasonably priced

Absolutely beautiful resort. We upgraded our room to a jungle view suite and it 100% lived up to our expectation. The views were amazing and the staff were more than accommodating and happy to help us with anything we needed. They even decorated our room with a flower bath to celebrate our engagement. The massages that were available at the hotel were great value for money. The resort is within walking distance to centre of ubud and monkey forest and a selection of restaurants at the top of the road.

Our bar fridge was a little noisy at night. A bit more lighting in the alley way, at night, to the resort.

Bucu View Resort is tucked away on the edge of the Ubud Forest. Beautifully placed villas amongst a tropical forest. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The villa we stayed in was comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was a delight. Great value for money and very peaceful. Very quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to the main Street of Ubud. Pleasurable stay indeed.

The room needed a luggage bench for your suitcase. You had to place it on the floor - not ideal

The serenity and beautiful garden/jungle setting was the highlight of this hotel - very peaceful yet still very close to all the sights and sounds of Ubud. The staff were so very attentive and caring and the ground floor room with the outdoor private bathroom was outstanding.

The first night and next morning we found it hard to relax with the bass from the restaurants speakers having too much bass and it being very loud in our villa . Initially it was thought to be a neighbouring hotel or bar but as the bass sound was still heard the next morning we relised it was our hotels sound system . The next night i spoke to the hotel staff and we turned down the bass . After that it was a much more relaxing stay and we got to experience the sound of the jungle and peaceful feel of this hotel . Was thankful for the staff for listening to our concerns

Being immersed in the jungle . The pool area was really pretty and the staff were nice . Hotel is also close to some great food places, chemist and convenience stores, and it's also situated in a more quiet part of the busy ubud streets. Netflix being available in the room was an added bonus to wind down after a long day and chill out before bed. There is also a sceneic walk that you can get to pass the pool and recommend taking a look.

A shame that the pool area doesn't seem to get a lot of sun. I didn't try any of the food except breakfast which I was quite disappointed with - I ordered the pancakes and they were not freshly made at all but I think taken out from a freezer - edges were hard and they were stuck together in the middle. The scrambled egg my brother had also didn't look too appetising. The hotel could definitely do better with this as breakfast is east to make!

Lovely infinity pool and gardens. Spacious room with a beautiful outdoor bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great, 5-10 minutes to shops and restaurants. Generally good value for the money.

The food wasn’t great. I wouldn’t recommend romantic dinner there. There were cobwebs under the bed. Lastly, something to keep in mind the hotel is close to nature, huge ants make it difficult to enjoy the outside area.

It’s a beautiful hotel. The room was quite clean and comfortable. The location is great. We enjoyed the pool and the view is absolutely stunning. The staff is very nice.

AC struggling with heat at night. BBQ night was kabobs rather than the steak and snags I was anticipating. Hot water service didn’t work one night we had to have cold showers .

14 minutes to markets , Starbucks, palace. Beautiful pool view. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

The property has quite a few steps and the lane up to the main road is quite steep so may not suit less mobile guests. A few more sunbeds around the pool area would be good on busy days.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Good choice of breakfast option's, which could be individualised. Amazing views over the rainforest from the infinity swimming pool - one day we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves. The rooms were roomy and light. Very serene and shady grounds. Very quiet location yet only a few minutes walk a busy thoroughfare with shops, restaurants, bars and spa facilities.

The hike up and down the driveway from hotel to main street. On arrival to room Aircon was not working. Went to front desk, lady said they might not be able to get it fixed today (Sunday), because maintenance man lives far away and it's his day off. We did get it fixed that night, but wasn't working properly. They did fix it the next day. I suggest these thi ngs should be checked and fixed after each guest checkout, ready for the next guests. Overall a nice place, but very, very busy in the streets.

The view from the Villa. Very comfy bed.

I supposed it may depend on type of room and service the guest choose, but for my own experience the toilet door and shower door could've been improved. It couldn't get locked properly. Also, not that I dislike, but probably providing slippers might also be a plus point for improvement. Ubud is a very crowded and easily jammed area. I know it can't be helped but I think you need to know short cuts or timing to avoid traffic jam to reach the location.

The restaurant faces directly to the jungle with river. We can enjoy the scenery during daytime. It looks very relaxing and helps me take away the feeling of city crowds. The staff everyone is so friendly. I accidentally left my wallet on the front desk while doing check-in and the receptionist delivered it to me right away as soon as he found out. Honest and friendly staff with nice cozy atmosphere are the best combination.

Avoid the pool around sunset as the mozzies are crazy. Also be aware traffic in ubud is SO BAD!!! Not the hotels fault, but just plan for it to take several hours to drive there from either pedang bai or denpasar - like 2-3 + hours (it's not a 1 hour journey like you might think from the maps).

The resort was quiet and the pool was amazing with great views. Really good cocktails. The room was large with aircon, safe and balcony. Staff very helpful and professional. Close to monkey forest.
