Rooms need updating (peeling wallpaper, lamp broken) the pool has brown tiles so looks dirty even though it's fairly clean, but isn't as inviting/relaxing as pools with blue/green tile. There was no food choice for breakfast- only banana pancake and fruit which I wouldn't have purchased as no choice of egg/protein or savoury option. Also you need to carry your luggage to & from Bisma which is a 500 metre walk.

Well located, family run, simple accommodation, clean, spacious room with bathroom that had no musty smell which was great. The family are friendly and helpful. There's a fantastic Warung Gauri's minutes away and a short walk to Bisma. The view from the pool is lovely over the trees but there's no rice field view anymore- photos need updating. The location is nice and quiet to sleep and only minutes walk to the main restaurant area.

The bathroom floor would remain wet after showering as didn't have a seperate area (shower over bath didn't work) and bathroom floor wouldnt dry. We just had a dedicated pair of bathroom shoes not to spread through rest of villa. This was a minor issue.

Loved that it was removed from the busyness, loved the pool, loved the view and also loved the simple but delicious breakfast.

Although it was not a problem and we felt that it added to the “charm” of the property it should be mentioned that one cannot access the property by vehicle and have a 400m walk through narrow streets and rice fields to reach the property. Only a problem when arriving with luggage.

Didn't realise the adapter was different hence was only provided with 1 adapter. Also will be good if there's a hair dryer available, otherwise all are well.

Pool in front of our cabin was clean and nice and so is the environment surrounding it..,very pleasant. Room is ok for 4 of us,,,very comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb and good value for $. Very nutritious to start the day with pancake, fruits and coffee/tea. We had this for 3 consecutive days.

Unfortunately the view is not as seen on the photos as some risefields became another hotel, but it's not the property's fault. Photos need to be refreshed. The road to get to the property is quite small, no cars allowed. Easy with backpacks, not the best with suitcases.

Staff is very friendly and super helpful. Location is nice, you need to pass the risefields before accessing the property which is nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good, but a little bit late from 8am. We asked to have it earlier and we got it at 7:30. Great value.

The worry about guests not paying led to a less polite entry where we were asked to pay the bill upfront almost before we had set our bags down. Noise travels easily and this creates trouble depending on other guests. One thing that really could be improved is : there is no opportunity to refill a water bottle in a sustainable way (it could be paid!). Instead guests are asked to buy countless plastic bottles every day and when seeing the horrible plastic pollution all over Bali I felt really really bad not to have an alternative. It would be so easy to set up a better system for each accommodation!!!

Dewa House Bisma is a simple bed and breakfast, so this is what you can expect. The staff are very friendly and have always treated us very politely and gave our children fruit from the garden to taste. Rooms are large and are kept very clean and are serviced daily. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had well functioning air condition. We could get an extra bed set up without a problem. The place is in a central area of Ubud, it is easy to walk everywhere.

Curtains could do with being replaced as one had quite a few holes in and they didn’t block any light. Bathroom didn’t smell very nice and would waft into the room, but we kept the AC on fan and this helped.

Really great location off the Main Street about a 5 minute walk through some back streets. It nice dipping pool and sun beds with a gorgeous view of fruit trees. Breakfast was really nice of fresh fruit and banana pancakes. Staff were lovely and welcoming and always up for a chat.
