Nothing personally!! It was my in-laws first time in Bali and their expectations were different than mine. There are a few “creature comforts” missing from the villa but everything we asked for was attended to - even thigh at time I felt a bit embarrassed to ask!!! Karsa his son and staff went above and beyond. I think the stay at Uma Kama was among the best I’ve had in Bali.

Karsa was waiting for me on arrival even though we arrived later than the time I planned. Breakfast wa a always ready on the table when we asked for it The wildlife around the villa is unreal. Close enough but still comfortable. My kids absolutely loved every minute of the spiders (not anywhere near us) and geckos and lizards!!! Everything was easy and laid back. We grew to look forward to Karsa’s visits and chats every night! I saw this as a con for previous guests but we absolutely loved it! Karsa and his family are such beautiful people who we loved learning the Balinese culture from! Please use the recommended driver for the villa -Nyoman. He is so kind and helpful. Even carried my older child to the waterfall as my in-laws were having trouble with the slippery rocks. It was raining when we arrived at the villa from a day trip and he went to the villa and found umbrellas for us all. Honestly he went above and beyond anything I have experienced in Bali previously (I have been 11 times and all positive experiences!)

Bathrooms (shower) are outdoors. It was raining during our stay, so we showered in the rain.

Nothing, everything was great!

Amazing villa with great pool. The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfortable and have a mosquito net. The owner and rest of the staff are super friendly. You can choose from 5 different breakfast options. Villa is located 15 mins from te center of Ubud (by car) and the owner knows a taxi driver that can bring you whenever you want. It costs around €6 to go to the center by taxi.

Bit further out from ubud main street than we expected.. need alternative option to the cash payment for the facility we expected to use a credit or debit card which was not option which we were not aware of until we arrived. Was hard to get the amount of cash out and changing exchange rate.

Villa lovely authentic location in midst rice paddies. Pool was great nice quiet location. We had the most wonderful driver called nyoman to take us places recommended by the owner. Staff made nice breakfasts and very considerate.

this is not a dislike. just an observation. The bathrooms are outside so perhaps some guests may be a little bit afraid (there was nothing to be afraid of)

the villa was amazing. it had three private huts so the three couple could have some private space/bathrooms. the villa is located near some restaurants/bars which was handy if we didn’t want to get a taxi.the owner was fantastic, he prepared breakfast everyday for us and when we had an excursion he prepared us packed breakfasts. when we asked if it was possible same day laundry he did it for us. he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. the house has everything you need. it was a very beautifully decorated/built house. Very cheap price for what it was!

Best banana pancakes ever! Host was very friendly and funny! He gave us some really good advice four drivers and activities. This location is amazing, quite property surrounded by rice fields. You get a sense of the tight knit community around here.

amazing in every way, our host was attentive as possible whilst also letting us enjoy the Villa in peace. he gave recommendations when needed and supplied us with an incredible breakfast as well. Contact was never an issue and the wifi was better here than than other resort’s we had stayed at. If your looking for a peaceful Villa with amazing food in shouting distance book now, the only thing i regret is not booking for a longer stay, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Yes, when there was no rice in the fields, there was something missing. All the minuses have been covered because the owner is friendly and ready to help, whatever it is.

a quiet place, the garden is spacious, especially Mr. Karsa who is kind and always helps whenever needed, the people are friendly and kind.The point is that this villa is highly recommended for colleagues who want to find peace because the owner will also be ready to help anytime and anything, thank you, Mr. Karsa.🙏🙏

Amazing! Mr Karsa is the best host, he couldn’t have done more for us and made us feel so comfortable and looked after. The property is stunning and in the middle of rice fields, at night you can see the stars so clearly and it’s so peaceful. We couldn’t get over the quality of this property for the price we paid. Everyday they asked what time we would want breakfast and it would be ready to the minute for whenever we requested. Mr Karsa also arranged a local taxi driver for a day of exploring and helped us with our laundry. Beautiful villa, beautiful hosts, beautiful stay.

Our stay was too short!

The villa is set amongst the rice fields, which provides a tranquil respite from bustling Ubud. There are three independent rooms, each with their own outdoor bathroom, providing privacy, perfect for groups or families travelling together. The pool is perfect to cool down after a day of adventures, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. There are restaurants within walking distance, and Ubud is a short drive away. Karsa, the host, ensured we had everything we needed including breakfast and transport for sightseeing; a truly attentive and caring host. We felt comfortable and confident in the drivers he arranged for us. We felt privileged to stay at Uma Kama!

About kitchen: - The microwave does not work at all in the kitchen. -The kitchen cupboard is very dirty inside.  There was mouse or rat in the cupboard as well. I have taken some photos about the tray, where was the sugar, salt, pepper etc...., there was mouse's or rat's sh*t as well. Absolutely disgusting!  -The breakfast menu was very limited of selection.  About villas: -The bathrooms needs to be repainted as soon as possible and need better cleaning as well.  -The drains are almost blocked. The water is flowing down very slowly.  -The towels were clean, but have many holes, as the material is used up.  -The mosquito nets around the beds are dirty and torn.  -You can not close the bathroom's door properly, so the animals, like frogs, big ants, geckos can come easily into the room. They been everywhere, in the towels, in our shoes and clothes, behind the painting on the wall, as well. There was gecko's shit on our clothes, too.  -There was construction near of the villa with many worker, they been working behind the villa until midnight. I DID NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL!!!! Because the fence around the villa is not too high....  About the "owner": His name is Karsa, but we think, he is not the owner of the property. He was a helpful and nice man, but he came every day into the villa without any reason, some days few times on the same day and stayed few hours. There is a small room with mattress behind the kitchen and he was relaxed there. It was very frustrating and bothering. When I asked him, does he need anything, he has left the villa. We felt, he was checking us and we had no privacy at all. It was very annoying situation and happened every day! Unfortunately most of these issues have been highlighted before in the previous feedbacks, but nothing has been happened.... This is so sad, because the villa is amazing.

Property has 3 villas, each is big enough. Swimming pool is big and clean.  The villa is far from Ubud, it was quiet area. (if there is no any construction)

The villa is pretty worn down, same with the beddings and towels. Wifi connection is poor and it works only in the kitchen area.

We liked the spaciousness of the property, it’s a peaceful location surrounded by rice fields and village life. The breakfast was ok and the manager arranged a scooter for a good price.
