Small nitpick: The water pressure in showers was a little weak in the days

Conveniently located from ubud, it offers a peaceful quiet spot while still easily navigable to the city centre Erna and all the other staff, Krishna and Karen were excellent and did their best to make sure we had a good time. The villa itself is well setup and has a well maintained pool. Great outdoor bath and shower and great cleanliness and thoughtfulness in all details Erna was always available and made sure we had everything we needed and took great care of us. Overall a great stay!

It was a beautiful stay at Rumah. Host Erna was warm & welcoming & staff Kadek & Krishna were very courteous. The pool was neat, clean & well maintained. Breakfast was delicious & as per our needs. The place was central & all attractions were nearby. My husband’s health was upset due to bad weather but the host did what all she could have within her jurisdiction. Overall lovely experience. We were a little sceptical due to the natural habitants (geckos & lizards) but sooner became used to since the beauty of the resort was overwhelming. Wish to visit soon. Thanks & regards

Lovely traditional Bali villa in a peaceful village location, not too far from the great cafes and restaurants of central Penestanan. Nice private pool and garden, open-air living and bathroom with all the facilities we could wish for. Comfortable Air-conditioned bedroom and very nice breakfast served by the wonderful friendly staff.

Unfortunately the water in the outdoor pool was a bit on the cooler side, mostly due to heavy rainfall.

I really enjoyed the open living areas / concept. With the exception of the bedroom, none of the other rooms have outside walls. We even left the doors on 2 sides of the bedroom open all night. We felt very safe since it's nestled inside a residential neighborhood. We also loved the personal attention by the owner. He even went so far to drive us to many of the local sights that were way from the beaten path. We had great breakfast served in our room.

Very far from city centre, 45 min to walk if you know the way. There are no restaurants around. Note, that bathroom is with no walls, so you are bathing outside. You can hear noise from constructions that are around, chickens and motobikes. Since this villa is more outside of the city, expect a lot of gekkos, they make noise and poo.

Very sunny villa with a huge pool with crystal clear water. Perfect breakfast that is served into your villa at your requested time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great that you can request house keeping even during late afternoon hours, which is good if you are late to go out.

It was a fantastic experience to stay in Rumah Dadong!! The room is very clean and comfortable, no need to mention the super professional and friendly staff and the owner. Their best hospitality made us feel like we were at home and we truly had a wonderful time here. Besides the exceptional hotel services, you can also experience so much more high quality services via them, e.g. the floating breakfast, massage in the villa, transport, local activity recommendations and booking, etc. They are no doubt all top rated too! Quite a long and hot walk into Ubud but you can just get a taxi. It’s close to the rice fields so there’s the odd creature out the back but nothing to worry about!

This villa was such a lovely place to stay in Ubud. Breakfast every day was very good, and the pool was so nice to cool off and relax by. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, and the place was spotlessly clean. The outdoor shower is fantastic too. Would definitely stay here again! Short walk to Paddy’s Point which was a great local restaurant!

Location's a short walk off any road accessible by taxi, which might be an issue for some. Pool is unheated, so no evening swimming for the faint of heart.

Lovely private and quiet location outside of the city, but still easily accessible (by taxi). The owner is very kind and helpful, and makes a great breakfast. All rooms apart from the bedroom are outside, which is great for enjoying the great air and nature of Bali. The bed was very comfortable, and it was very nice to have our own little walled 'home'. Protip: For the location, search for 'Ikan Sushi' on Google, Rumah Dadong doesn't always show up in the correct spot.

The villa was amazing, super clean and tidy. It has all we needed. Each day we had fresh towels, everything smelled so good everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and we could select from quite a few options. Wifi was okay. Hosts Yudi and Erna were exceptional, welcomed us warmly, even prepared a honeymoon surprise and were super friendly all the time, helped us with anything we needed, shared some local drinks and deserts. Yudi even organised a day trip and drove us around Ubud to see some really good places and even choose the best time so we can enjoy non-crowded places. He speaks English great so he shared with us many interesting stories and facts about Bali and answered all our questions. Highly reccomend him as guide, helped in each location. All in all stay at Rumah Dadong was perfect in any way, it was absolutely the best place we stayed in Bali as we experienced authentic Ubud with a 5 star hotel service. It will never be enough words to express how happy we were at Rumah Dadong. Biggest recommendations ever! What migh be necesary to know is that Villa is quite hard to find and you cannot reach it with car but once again Yudi and Erna helped us to find it and with our luggage so there was no problems.

The ubud in general is a retreat place, not an ideal place for people who want to explore the nightlife in Bali.

Nothing not to like! But just an fyi you can not access the villa unless you are on a scooter or by walking but this isn’t an issue, the staff help you with your bags !

Beautiful cute little villa nice and secluded, clean and spacious and exactly what is needed in Ubud, set a little bit further out of Ubud centre and surrounded by nature and rice fields. The hosts are sweet lovely people who will help you with anything you need, we loved our breakfast every morning was made and delivered to our specifications, the pool is lovely and just the right size. We had a great experience and can’t wait to return again.

"Absolutely amazing villa with the best hosts. Clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. Every one of our desires was fulfilled within minutes. The hosts offered 'floating breakfast' in the pool and helped organize a hot tub with flower decorations. The breakfast was fantastic with excellent food choices. Very delicious. During our stay, we felt special. It was like being at home - taken care of and comfortable. The host provided travel tips and guided us to various tourist attractions. Definitely a rating of 10/10." Yudi, one of the hosts met us upon arrival in the taxi. From there on in, our experience was delightful. The villa is gorgeous, tranquil and offers everything anyone could ever need. Both Yudi and Erna are the perfect and kindest hosts we have ever encountered. They helped us visit most of the sites worth seeing, and we always felt safe and comfortable with the drivers Yudi and Erna recommended. Everything was amazing ! The villa was perfect, really clean, we felt at home straight away. Size of the pool, the outside living room and bathroom.. felt like a dream. The breakfast was super nice too, lot of options and generous. Yudhi and Erna are so nice and helpful ! We asked for recommandations and daily trip and they were really reactive. Yudhi make us discovered Ubud and shared a lot about the culture. Thank you to them and to the staff of Rumah Dadong, we will come back with no hesitation !

The location was a little further than originally expected and was 30 mins walk or taxi to the Center.. also the location is different than what Google maps says so it was difficult to find and difficult to call taxis to and from the location.. also the location required a bit of walking (no car access) and at night there were no lights so needed to guide ourselves with our phone lights

Due to festivities at nearby temple, we had difficulties to access the place as our driver could not drop us nearby. Long walk into a beautiful narrow pathway.
