I am so glad i chanced upon this beautiful villa.. The hospitality by the hosts Wayan and his wife Ketut is absolutely commendable .They made us feel warm n welcomed. I was there with my parents n my husband for 2nights in April 2024.. Wayan and Ketut were always available with any information or help  we needed..From  arranging a taxi to explore Ubud ( decent fare and polite driver, who was also their relative ) ...to.. getting us the tickets for the kecak dance, we just didn't look for anything else .. on my request they arranged a beautiful floating breakfast with cupcakes n candles for my husbands 40th bday. The entire staff sang  and wished my husband..We couldn't have asked for more from them. We enjoyed our time in our pvt pool without any disturbance . My parents also loved this place and the hosts .The villa is just 2 kms from the city centre or monkey forest. Any one can easily hire a scooty to move around but as we had our parents with us we decided to use their own pvt taxi..which was the best decision .. i highly recommend this place and give it a 10/ 10. Thanks Wayan n Ketut.. whenever we are in Bali again, we know where to stay.. see you guys

A fantastic comfortable beautiful villa in a traditional family compound. The family made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself was very private with a pool in a lovely courtyard garden. There was a comfortable outside seating area. It was a short walk to central Ubud but in a quiet peaceful area although there were a number of small restaurants nearby. The family organised our trip to see the Mt Batur sunrise via jeep and one family member was our driver (we have introduced him to the Beatles on these car journeys - please check if he still likes them!). Highly recommended and we were sad to leave such kind and wonderful people.

the staff are amazing. they are really helpful in terms of our needs and even help us with our tour. they provided a generous welcome meal. the rooms and the pool are awesome. the whole villa is all by ourselves so we got privacy.

We can not thank Wayan and Ketut enough for looking after our family during our stay in Ubud. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, it was simply amazing. Their hospitality, fabulous breakfasts, amazing brownies, activity advice/bookings, and help with transport options were outstanding. Our children aged 12 and 16 also loved their stay and said Sari Mimpi Kutuh was a highlight of their Bali holiday. Ketut and Wayan thank you so much for hosting us and sharing your family with ours. We will recommend your accommodation to everyone we know!

Outstanding service oriented people running the place. Welcoming was amazing. Breakfast was up to the mark and very filling (as a vegetarian, it is difficult to please us; up to the mark as such is more like great). Great facilities with attention to a lot of details- like washing powder for the washing machine, umbrellas, a 20L water and cooler setup, and a whole lot more. Private pool was clean, inviting. Cozy yet not too tiny. The house has a lot of traditional Indonesian artifacts and decoration. People have great tie-ups with private massager at nominal prices and restaurant, tour operator for interested guests. All are offered as direct payment to the 3P suppliers and do not have any commission being charged which means there is no negative incentive for the owners. Very clean property with adequate towels for shower and pool separately. Netflix connection for anyone wanting digital entertainment. On the whole, an outstanding place to stay and managed well by people who were very eager to please.

Nothing, it was all very pleasant and comfortable.

What a fantastic accommodation! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful (e.g. arranging mosquito nets, taxi or ordering food). We regularly received extra's such as coconuts, dragonfruit, local potato cakes or brownies, which was not necessary, but much appreciated nevertheless. The beds are very comfortable and both bedrooms have airconditioning. The living room and kitchen have fans. The kitchen is very well equipped although we did not use much of it. Breakfast was tasty and could be adapted based on preferences. The swimming pool and garden is simply marvellous. The location is also perfect, on a quiet road just away from the many road to Ubud central - 15mins walking to Ubud palace. The villa is located on a family property and all family members were welcoming and gave tips during our stay. It is very atmospheric to stay at such an authentic location in the cultural centre of Ubud.

Nice villa, clean and very comfortable. Also very safe. Host was so wonderful and helpful. She accommodated all our requests and even packed us breakfast to go as we were running late and couldn't stay. It was a wonderful stay and we're very happy to have stayed here. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The only slight criticism was the distance to the main town of Ubud for a more elderly guest. There was always the offer of transport, so it’s not a big problem but just required a little more planning and less spontaneous experience (for my mother in her mid 70s who I was travelling with).

We loved the Villa! It had everything you could need and has been very well maintained and cared for: The pool is fantastic and is surrounded by lovely gardens and water features. The family hosts are very friendly and helpful and make you feel extremely comfortable. We absolutely loved it here and wished we could have stayed longer!

The hostess was so incredibly kind and helpful. I fell ill with a cough and sore throat. She brought me items to help me. She arranged for drivers and massages. Breakfast was tasty.

2 couples, 2 spacious bright bedrooms and a huge living area/kitchen/dining..... The villa was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and close to many restaurants and cafes... Ketut and Wayan and their family were beautifully hospitable and could not do enough for us, even bringing us some delicious chocolate brownies .. They arranged everything we needed including transport and massages.. Amazing value... 😊

With two spacious double-bed rooms and separate washrooms, the villa fits my family of four perfectly. Well-equipped, tidy and delicate, the villa and its private garden and pool allowed us a very joyful family time. Wayan and his wife were exremely welcoming and helpful. They thoughtfully took care of our needs. We were able to dine in the villa after arriving late as the hostess helped us to order food from nearby restaurant. Highly recommend this villa to all family visitors!

We loved everything about our stay here, from the day we arrived to a warm welcome from the lovely owners, Wayan, Ketut and family, to the joy of seeing the wonderful villa with it's swimming pool/outdoor area, spacious bedrooms with generous ensuites and big kitchen and dining room. Within walking distance to Ubud, down a quiet residential street, we can't recommend this Sari Mimpi Kutuh enough, it was more than we could've hoped for and the fact it was tucked away from the road, surrounded by the family compound made you feel extra safe and secure.

Wayan, Ketut and their family are the kindest host. Ketut is a very good cook with daily breakfast. They offer a taxi and tours - very reasonably priced and efficient! The villa is serene, close to rice field walks and also Ubud centre. Each room has its own bathroom with the kitchen, dining and living room at the centre of the house. The private pool is amazing! They have a little store at the front of the compound, which is really convenient. You can book a massage to come to the villa. Best location for both tranquil rest & walkability to lively areas.
