BelgiumFood was good but a little inconsistent, perhaps the only worth-to-mention area of improvement, both in terms of quality and variety.
After having checked several other resorts on Gili Air I feel like Vyaana was the best possible choice. If you look after a quieter spot, this is where you want to be. Rooms are nice and spacious, the whole property is beautiful and well maintained. Service is very good also thanks to Lily, a really welcoming and attentive manager.

New ZealandThere were a few things broken, but nothing that impacted our stay. It’s not the best beach for swimming but a short bike to the other side of the island. Refilled glass water bottles rather than plastic would be great!
The staff were amazing, and the little touches were beyond what we expected. Also the cleanest property we had our whole time away. The breakfast on the beach is the best way to start the day and they organised everything for us that we needed.

FranceWith 2 young kids (which stayed free) they had to sleep in the king bed with us. It would have been nice if they had their own bed but this was at an extra cost. The room would have also been very tight if another bed was added. (Deluxe King Room). They do have one family suite but it was unavailable.
The swimming pool was perfect for young kids (3 and 6) with three different depth levels allowing them to stand comfortably. It is hands down the best pool on the island. Also, the proximity to the beach is perfect and it has the best sunset views. They had a bicycle for the 6 year old which he loved riding around the island with us while the little one sat in the child seat provided.

Lovely small resort located on a quiet corner of Gili Air - location was fantastic - about 5 minutes walk to the best bars and resturants to watch the spectacular sunset. Excellent snorkling off the beach. Resort was recently renovated - the rooms were beautiful and the pool area was really fantastic. The rooms had everything you needed, mosquito nets for the night and airconditioning which was needed for the hot afternoons. The pool was very refreshing and we spent most afternoons there with our friends. The staff were exceptional - were there to help with anything we needed, and we loved the added touches they provided - the night time treats, and bathroom essentials. There were also bikes supplied for guests to get around the island. We had a really great time - thanks Vyaana!

AustraliaBeautiful hotel with incredible Ocean front views. Loved the pool which was actually a good temperature compared to many on the island which are too hot. The bed was comfy, the aircon worked well and the staff were so accommodating. There were so many lovely little touches to our stay which I won't go into detail on as they are nice little surprises. It's also very close to a large selection of bars and restaurants and you can snorkel right out the front of the hotel.

Bungalows are very clean and comfortable. There is only 8 of them, so you will have a privacy. Bikes are provided for free, you can use whenever you want. Very good breakfast. Nice pool. Close to restaurants and bars, but still quiet and calm area.

This property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, the staff were so attentive and friendly. The staff turned down our bed at night, left homemade cookies and a bedtime story. It was a wonderful personal touch. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable, it is so nice to shower outside looking up at the palm trees. Although the beach isn’t swimmable in front of the hotel, it is a very short bike ride to beaches that are and the hotel provides beaches free of charge. The breakfast was amazing (some of the best French toast I’ve ever had) and it was really nice waking up on the quiet side of the island and having breakfast on the beach. We loved our stay and would absolutely return.

The hotel is located on the beach. You can enjoy your breakfast in the sand, in front of the sea, which is absolutely great. The breakfast in itself is really good (you can choose from the menu). The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Very discreet but very very nice. They can help you arrange anything you want - we had a massage on the beach at night which was fabulous. The rooms are really nice, well decorated and spacious. There are free bikes to go around the island. Me and my partner spent three nights there and we had an amazing time.

United KingdomI wasn’t aware that all hotels on Gili don’t have ‘hot’ water. The shower was tepid, but it was actually very refreshing. Nothing to complain about, loved it!
The Staff were amazing, they looked after us perfectly, with attention to our every need… faultless! Vyaana is located on the beach with great views across the turquoise sea to Gili Meno; very tranquil and relaxing. It is within easy reach of many eateries. The resort provided bicycles so we could tour the island with ease. Definitely worth a visit!!

Stunning beachside place to stay with views over beach looking towards Gili Meno and amazing sunsets. We had large room for 4 people above the reception area - large terrace to enjoy the views. Nice pool. Beach restaurant for breakfast. Staff very kindly arranged a birthday breakfast for my son!

The quietest spot on the island, with a nice sandy white beach, and a few nice restaurants and a dive school nearby. Lovely spacious garden with 8 traditional sasak style bungalows. Breakfast and lunch on the beach. Fathur and his collegues from the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping helped us excellently with all our questions. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a small quiet classy boutique-esque resort, at the sunset side (G. Agung Bali and G. Meno) of the island.
