The pub downstairs had a fantastic Irish music -- a terrific, toe-tapping ensemble that had the crowd singing along. Also, great front desk help and good, cheerful service.

Asking for the room to be freshened up. The next evening after we arrived. Needed new towels & toilet paper. As there was 3 of us.. .came back to the room no clean cups . & the noise from the fans directly outside the window couldn't sleep....there was a stain on the carpet outside the room with a damp smell.very off putting...we stayed there a good few years ago & everything was perfect .

Staying in the town was a bonus.. parking was cheap....lots of different shops around.

Decor is quite old fashioned. There was no shelf to put toiletries in the bathroom.

I chose it because the bus stop is right outside. It is a nice hotel with lovely staff and good facilities.

You really couldn’t get a better location in Donegal town as it’s right at the heart of it. The rooms were huge with comfortable beds and were cleaned to a good standard.

The bed was very uncomfortable. With a worn out mattress and hard pillows. Never made for a comfy sleep. The kettle had to be boiled on the floor as the plug sockets were out of reach of any surface. So with a toddler. Making tea and coffee was tricky. The breakfast wasn’t really great considering it was £15 each. And a few of the server staff at breakfast seemed a little aloof.

Amazing location. Right in the heart of the town. The bar and restaurant were both lovely places to eat and drink. The bar staff were very attentive and friendly. The live music in the bar really made the evening special.

I was not impressed with the fact that they had run out of croissants at breakfast and when asked for more, I was told, no they are all gone, we don't refill!!! I paid 15 euro's and couldn't get what I wanted!! and there was still another hour of breakfast left!! and the fruit choice was nom choice, one and done!!

Loved the location of this hotel, center of town, very walkable to everything in town!!! very clean, rooms nicely done.

No private parking, Had to use a public car park, a little walk down the street. It was a bank holiday so parks were fairly full, but was free for that day!

Rooms are dated but they are currently in the middle of refurbishments. Our bathroom was recently refurbished so hopefully the rest of the room will be completed soon.

Unfortunately, the hotel was extremely crowded due to the music festival and it proved difficult to find anywhere that would serve dinner. I finally managed to get dinner at 8:30pm at a local Indian restaurant (which was excellent).

Central location in Donegal, friendly staff in difficult situation with very crowded hotel, able to safely accommodate my bike as I was on a cycling holiday.

The smoking area was not nice or inviting. The room was passable but a bit old fashioned and dated compared to the rest of the hotel. The hotel car park was full and we had to cart luggage a long way from another car park which was not good.

The staff were very nice. The live entertainment was varied and exceptional. The room was clean. The location was excellent with everything in one area within walking distance

Room 133 was directly above the entrance and was noisy quite late into the early hours.
