How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Free space in the room is very sparse, it was great for our short stay, but I think on a longer visit or if you need space for work it is very tight. For the price in Europe you would expect slightly more space I think, but I understand Dublin is pricey as a city
Room was perfectly clean, bathroom seemed very luxurious. Location is amazing for exploring Dublin, both Luas and Bus connections.

The graffiti on the building and the amount of litter and rubbish on the street outside. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Very small room. No parking nearby and no directions where to park so ended up getting clamped. The tram line ran right outside the room so was noisy. The area was rough with rubbish all over the streets. The mattress was rock hard so we hardly got any sleep. Unable to open the windows so felt extremely claustrophobic!
Clean hotel. Convenient location. Friendly staff.

In 203 there's a door outside that bangs which is really annoying.
The staff on reception were all lovely and very helpful.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but that's my only complaint.
The hotel is room only: no breakfast. The room was small but it had all I needed. The rate was reasonable compared with what you would pay in other hotels.

A bit noisy at night due to guests in the corridor and equipment on the roof outside the window.
Very convenient location. Good value. Clean. The air conditioning actually worked to cool the room.

There were no chairs and no table, despite there being plenty of empty space. One our second day the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to take two stools from the reception area to our room

A bit weird and unconvenient that there was no toilet brush.
It's pretty basic, but it's quite new, clean and the location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No tea and coffee making in the room (which we knew) but a machine downstairs at a 2 euro cost. No cups in the room, not even a bin liner in the bin. No way was this a 'city centre' hotel. Two or three tram rides needed or a 30 minute walk. It was expensive but it was the Europa League Cup Final so generally a price hike across the city.
Really friendly staff and a room slightly bigger than what we would normally expect for Easyhotel.

My only problem with this property is the beds. They were new but very hard. However, I asked the staff for an extra duvet to use as a mattress topper and they graciously brought one up to my room with no issue. It helped me sleep much better.
Great location, excellent staff. Very good value. Newly remodeled, modern and clean.

The bathroom floods and it is so small the water gets out and all the bathroom floor gets wet. It also reads as it is located “in city center” but with either rain or sun… the walking distance isnt as friendly as it might appear on the map so for a couple of more euros it is worth to stay in a more centric location.
The beds are comfortable and enough to just arrive and sleep

The size of the room. The first room we were in (106) was impossibly small. And although we realize the eco nature of the hotel the lack of basis amenities was surprising. No place to lay anything even suitcases and coffee only available in foyer at a cost. The TV was impossible to use in both rooms.
The Manager was extremely obliging and helpful. The second rom he moved us to was not much bigger but the layout allowed for space to lay suitcases and move around.
