We loved it. My ederly Mum said what a pity we only booked one night as she would have liked to stay for a week! The location is fabulous and the facilities are great.We really appreciated being able to sit by the fire and enjoy the view from the dining area.

Our stay was amazing! So much so, that we decided to stay and extra night. Betty is wonderful and has a beautiful, clean and cosy hostel. The area is stunning with great loop walks nearby, it is really worth traveling the distance. She also leaves fresh eggs in the morning from her chickens. We definitely recommend staying here!

The hostel ist very well kept. Everything is super clean and furnished with lovely details. The garden, the views, the warm welcome - we couldn't have asked for more. From the yummy eggs provided by the chicken for breakfast to the roaring fire in the evening, we were well cared for all day long.

This was a cozy and welcome getaway, ideally located near the coast and full Belmullet peninsula. The host was so friendly and helped with anything that came up. Seeing the ducks, pigs, and chickens on the property was a pleasure. The view from the living area is fantastic and plays like an everchanging painting throughout the day. The living space with the furnace was relaxing for the evenings as well.

I will start the explanation with the view that opens in front of this place. It's amazing. 😍 The hostel: nestled under the hill, beautifully laid out, clean and well maintained. The service: nice and kind Betty, explained everything about the accommodation and the services we can use. She even said there was complimentary coffee, tea and cereal. Free parking. Free WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare breakfast or dinner. I was the first to use the brand new kettle. Brand new toaster. A sitting room with a fireplace, lots of books, tables and a beautiful view. We chose a room for two with a private bathroom. Nice, warm, tidy and clean. Result: the price deserves the quality of service, of location, of services. Enjoy 🍀🍀🍀 PS: And again, Thank you Betty for everything! It was amazing, we will be back again!

Amazing Holiday Hostel with picteresque view. The house itself has a rustic character, and Betty as a host is sweet, and kind person. The rooms were kept clean with ample space in the kitchen area. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I loved this place, I'll definitely stay there again. It's in such a beautiful area, the views are stunning, its peaceful and relaxing. There is a huge sitting/ dining area, massive kitchen to cook, 3 or 4 showers and 3 or 4 toilets. It's beautiful, I can't wait to come back. I think you'd need a car to get there, I'm not 100% but I'm not sure if you could get there by public transport.

There's nothing that I didn't like

The hospitality at the hostel, its location and the cleanliness. Also there was breakfast and milk available. The host was unbelievably the nicest person I met (and I am used to it since the Irish people have been very warm, lovely and kind). I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's planning to visit areas within 1-2 hr drive from here.

This is complaining on the highest level, but for my liking the beds were a little too soft (just a preference thing I guess)

Inkeeper was very friendly and helpful. She gave us the best recommendations for sights to visit in the area. It is well situated if you are here by car, because you can visit all the points of interest within reasonable driving time. Common room is very cozy and has a fireplace. Kitchen is big and well equipped. Shower has very reliable hot water, and water pressure is very good. Facilities are shared with only one other room, so chances to run in with other guest are quite slim (we visited off-season, so it was only us using them at the time) If I were to visit that part of this beautiful country again, I would absolutely choose this place again.
