Beautifully presented and cosy home away from home. They’ve thought of everything and our stay was delightful. Great location within walking distance of the beach, Roslee Castle ruins and the local pub and takeaway. Great location for exploring Downpatrick Head and the Ceide Fields historic site.

Just to be very picky here, nothing major: our bed made some squeaky noises, maybe because of the wood chassis being a little loose. Something which can be easily fixed.

Beautiful accomodation, the hosts are super welcoming and there for every need. Nice room and good quality breakfast. Highly recommended!

Frances and Stuart were extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Frances immediately offered us a hot drink and sat for a chat, which included a recommendation of a local walk and a trip to the pub and takeaway. The location of the B and B is stunning and extremely quiet - exactly as we like it. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bead was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was impeccable and we felt very well catered for by Stuart. We could not have asked for more and would certainly recommend this b and b.

The village had no restaurant (we knew before arrival) so we ordered from the takeaway which we ate in the local pub!

The location was idyllic, peaceful, quiet overlooking the ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way which we were cycling with a very interesting 12th century castle with a secret! Our hosts Frances and Stuart were lovely welcoming us with refreshments in their guests lounge. It was a lovely walk to the village along the river.

Only issue was the confusing car parking arrangements. Individual car parking areas need to be identified to assist guests.

Nothing to dislike. It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but having said that Stuart makes a mean porridge and there were cooked eggs with smoke salmon on offer which we didn't have so plenty of options and different to the other B&B fayre.

The location is right beside O'Dowd Castle and the hosts were very kind, informative and accommodating. The rooms were a good size. Beds were comfortable and there are blackout blinds. The sound of the waves was an added bonus.

I cannot recommend Ocean Sound enough!! Stuart and Frances were so nice, helpful and friendly. The B&B is exceptionally clean, the rooms are lovely and well equipped and the breakfast is great. Stuart was very welcoming - telling us about the area and nearby beach and walks, helping us with directions for our plans and ensuring every element of our stay was perfect.
