The only negative note is that they asked if I wanted breakfast without mentioning it would be an additional charge. They just asked what I would like for breakfast in the morning. I had just assumed it was included with the cost of the room. It was fine, and I probably would have done it either way, just the surprise of it showing up on the bill without talking about it before or mentioning that it would be an additional cost was not the best customer experience.

The room was comfortable and as pictured. Staff was very friendly. It felt safe in all ways. The outdoor area was very pleasant to sit in.

The property is gorgeous!! Owner Sanjay ji ensures that the guests feel comfortable during the stay. The verandah area has to be my most favorite in the property! Clean, green and full of surprises in every corner! I'll definitely be returning to badnor house for my next visit to the city. Perfect quiet location with Helpful and sweet people. Absolutely Loved the stay!

We wish it was more than a B&B.

Badnor House is a pleasant and tranquil homestay/B&B. We booked them a night before directly through Mr. Sanjay who helped us book an extra room as well. The rooms are very spacious, cosy and light. The beds are huge and the linen is fresh and clean. There is plenty parking space available in case you come by car. It’s plenty easy to look for an auto just outside the hotel which takes you to the dargah in about 10 mins. You can order meals through swiggy/zomato. We loved the fact that the place was so green and planted with many different bougainvilleas around. They have birds, tortoises, fishes and a cute golden retriever named Trixie. The breakfast was simple and good the next morning and we left with a peaceful mind. Thanks Mr. Sanjay for your hospitality.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Badnor House, a boutique-style accommodation in Ajmer, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was enchanted by its beauty. The garden was simply stunning, offering a serene oasis to relax and unwind. The rooms were beyond comfortable, providing the perfect combination of luxury and coziness. What truly stood out to me was the attention to detail in both the interior and exterior design. Every corner of the property seemed to have been meticulously crafted, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. It's evident that whoever designed this place poured their heart and soul into it, as every aspect exuded creativity and thoughtfulness. Additionally, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Can't think of anything. It was the most comfortable place during our Indian tour so far. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place, very clean and peaceful. It really looks like the pictures, or even better! The owner is very nice and passionate about Rajesthan history and heritage. We also recommend Ajmer walk with him if you want to get to know the town with the local. Walk also includes transit between sites so it is not only interesting but also not tiring even in hot weather.

Located quite close to the railway station as well as the Dargah. The property is very well maintained, with neat and clean spacious rooms and excellent toilet. Only very light breakfast is served (toasted bread/ poha with tea/coffee/juice) at a reasonable price.

Perhaps a bit more expensive than some of our stays, but it was worth it. So nothing we didn't like.

A wonderful break from the usual hassles of travel in India. Like an oasis, we had 3 peaceful nights staying here in this charming homestay. So glad we decided to stay here and bused into Pushkar instead (local bus or tuk-tuk very easy). Ajmer is often missed by Western visitors, which is a shame. Extra big rooms and bathrooms, lots of hot water. We had a private dinner on our 2nd night. A very special treat indeed. Many thanks to Sanjay for all his help. Highly recommended 👌

Badnor House is the perfect place to stay when in Ajmer or en route to Pushkar. Sanjay is the best host - very polite and considerate, entertaining and informative. The home stay is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. Nice, immaculate rooms with great bathroom and loads of solar hot water. Breakfast was great and there are restaurants nearby for dinner. Highly recommended.

What can I say? It’s been a long time, since I spent such a pleasant stay. Sanjay is a friendly, polite and knowledgeable host. The homestay is an oasis with a beautiful garden. The rooms are impeccable. Not only clean, but decorated with thoughtful nuances. And practical. E.g. a nightlight (can be switched off) to guide you to the bathroom at night. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. If you ever come to Ajmer, this is the place!

Beautiful house with a lovely garden. Rooms are spacious and very clean, and kept beautifully. Sanjay is an excellent host - friendly and extremely helpful. We ate dinner at the homestay which was delicious. Location is very good, close to railway station and to central Ajmer but without being noisy - a little oasis of calm!

The house and garden was very peaceful and a lovely place to stay. Sanjay was so helpful, even before we arrived, and gave us lots of tips during our short stay. We also had the breakfast, which was very nice. The location of the home was convenient, only a short walk or tuctuc ride to the lake and the bus station. This was a perfect place to rest and use as a base to explore both Ajmer and Pushkar.
