Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaWithout arriving our guest payment has been deducted from my account (of course i given my card details but its for guaranty purpose right, and you can claim the amount if guest not check inn at hotel) , and i when i called to IBIS Chennai - one lady responded very worst way, very badly spoken. Even i told very clearly guest coming from Thailand and already i given intimation that check-in time will be ay mid night. For safety reasons i given my c card no, incase if my guest not reporting of course you can debit the amount but this debit was really very worst activity. She said i follow simply booking .com instruction, if you want you talk to booking.com - with very rough words. This kind of behavior will effect booking.com web. you have to take some kind of actions. I done many times booking.com and reached hotel at late night never faced such issues, This is the 1st time i was faced this kind of issues. Sunday i called to IBIS landline phone at evening 6.40 to 6.50 near time.

United StatesHousekeeping - Only issue, albeit a minor one, was the consistency of restocking bathroom items - soap, lotion, etc.. It was done inconsistently (I.e., done some times but not others). The rooms were small for my liking. I would have liked more space to move around. The common areas did not offer much opportunity to hang out. The restaurant was the only place to sit with a guest. The gym was missing towels and the water in the cooler had run out. I told the front desk and they re-stocked it but it appears to not be part of the housekeeping checklist. The biggest issue is with the hotel access from Mount Road. Some days we were required to go around the building, and on other days we could come directly into the complex. The access was the low point of the experience of our stay at Ibis.
The breakfast was very nice. There was a good diversity of options and the staff were attentive and helpful. I loved the healthier options - sprouted beans, fresh cut fruit, varieties of yogurt, etc. The staff were also helpful with delivering food to the room, and adjusting items to suit our needs. Housekeeping was mostly good. The quality of making the beds and handling towels was excellent! It definitely made our stay very pleasant. The facilities were well maintained. I loved that there were no mosquitoes in the hotel even though Chennai was teeming with them at most locations. The gym was a very nice amenity to have. It helped make our stay much more productive and pleasant. The machines and free-weight collection was limited but well maintained and adequate to build our own routines. There were paper towels and sanitizer available for cleaning after a workout.
