The location is perfect, very close to Halgrimmskirkja, also to the bus stop for excursions and transfers. The accomodation was really nice and clean. I reserved the room with shared bathroom and everything was clean. There's a good heating in the room, and the bed sheets are quite warm. The continental breakfast was really great.

The only thing that could be improved is the communication, at the time of booking, of the check-in hours in presence and of the fact that there is an authomated check-in procedure for check-in outside this time frame. The procedure was very easy for me, however there may be elderly people not so comfortable with it so it would be better to be very clear about it in advance.

Excellent position, comfortable room and very kind staff. It is also of great help the possibility to leave the baggage in a dedicated room after checkout.

The guest house is exactly in the center. The room was clean and cozy. And by luck I was upgraded to a bigger room. And view was also nice. Staff were friendly.

Comfy, quiet, warm room with kitchen facilities a step outside my door. Showers & toilets very clean & I rarely saw or heard anyone else. Excellent central location close to everything. Loved it.

I wish you could open more windows, since the room can get warm on a sunny day. The room faced the street, so it can get slightly noisy.

Great location, just opposite the Hallgrimskirkja and within walking distance to many attractions. Basic cozy room. Late check-in procedure was easy.

A definite recommend if you’re ever in Reykjavik! The accommodation is smack in the middle of the city with great connections to everything. Bus stop just a minute walk away and most tours offer pick up and drop off there! The property was really lovely, very clean and comfortable! Staff was really helpful and their breakfast is fresh, delicious and worth the extra :) will definitely be back on my next trip to Iceland!

The shared toilet and the unfortunate smell of sewerage. No lift

The position was superb, close to everything. Beds were comfy, but the most important thing was the staff. We are close to 70, and we were so thankful that the person on duty kindly took our bags up to our room as there was no lift.

Someone kept setting off the fire alarms and the first night we got very little sleep. The driveway went right past our room and we heard every car on the gravel that went past.

Had a great stay at Sunna Guesthouse! Cleaning was perfect, I've seen high categories hotels that do not match this level at all. Housekeeping staff was very welcoming by itself :) There's a kitchen available for you that will help you save a lot of money - and will be more convenient for your stay. A boiler is also available that will allow you to have a coffee/tea when you wake up without having to sell a kidney for it. Definitely I would come back on my next stay in Reykjavík.

Excellent location in the centre of Reykavik, facilities and kitchen space to meet other guests. But above all the reception staff were excellent. Always at hand for such helpful information and service. Example loaning swimming tails and giving above and beyond advice on tour and travel plans. Excellent, thank you.
