The pillows were very flat - some slightly fatter ones would be good. The apartment was on the ground floor at street level so we had to be aware of having the curtains across for privacy. However the security in the apartment was good.

The location was good - easy walking distance to the main sights. As we’d just finished 10 days driving, it was great to have a washer and dryer and we really appreciated the clothes airer to hang our washing on (we had our own pegs but it would be good to have some supplied). We also appreciated the range of supplies available eg laundry liquid, shampoos, shower gels etc. The blackout blinds worked well. Street parking was good. The information provided by the hosts prior to our stay eg supermarkets, restaurants etc was very helpful.

I didn’t realize it was on the corner of the main road. The noise from the passing cars was very disruptive especially with the midnight sun which allows people to be out later/longer

Warm, comfortable, well equipped, and all key sites are within walking distance. Communication with the owner was very good. A big bonus is we were able to check in early and check out late!

Despite saying there was free parking there wasn’t. We were expecting on site parking which is why we booked it. There is free parking round about but when you’re a tourist driving into Reykjavík you don’t know where that free parking may be. We had to keep moving the car to different zones and had to get the parking app and work out how to use it pronto - bit stressful 😱!

Just be advised that the apartment sits on a busy street so there is some noise from traffic.

Our host Stína was wonderful! Very quick to reply to any questions from my side and gave me helpful tips about my stay in Reykjavik. The property is in a great location and the apartment is cozy and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and there is even a pull-out sofa with a mattress topper, making for another comfortable place to sleep. There are many good places to eat near the flat and bus stop 15 for excursions is quite close. We loved staying here and can highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, 3 min walk to the centre of town and plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. On-site free parking. Well equipped small kitchen. Host meet us on arrival and offered local tips. Great little spot. I would happily recommend the place and the hosts.

I liked most everything about this property. It was clean, nicely furnished, well stocked, and in an incredible location. Out the door and you’re into the Old Harbour area with endless shops and restaurants . . . and amazing views! Stina was so helpful and sent a wealth of information about the area and also the whole of Iceland!

I found the lock box difficult to open and I had trouble lock ng the front door despite folding owing the insteuctions left. On a wet day I was unable to access the internet on any of the wifi connections. There is only a small view of the sea and mountain from the apartment.

The location of the apartment is very central and an easy walk to all the sights.

The host messaged a 4-digit code the day prior and we used it to enter the apartment. They also sent detailed instructions on taking the elevator to the proper floor of the building, in addition to parking instructions.

I'm not sure if you could really say there is a sea and mountain view - bit of a literal (neck) stretch... Remember when you smell the shower that you're in Iceland and the water is heated geothermally. We initially thought there was a drains issue!

Great location and very comfy clean apartment. Everything works well, the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful and friendly, good secure parking, comfy beds and sofabed. There was even food there! There were three of us and we had plenty of space and privacy for the few days - there is one actual bedroom with great storage and two beds which can be joined together. There is a shower washing machine and dryer in the bathroom (no bath) and again, plenty of storage, toiletries and cleaning supplies. It's within easy walking distance to pretty much everything and getting the buses from the airport is super easy (they gave very helpful and clear instructions) - don't waste money on a taxi!
